Read the preface and first Chapter of David Cooper's Psychiatry and Anti Psychiatry. The purpose of this book is to reverse the trajectory of blame, from being held by the prejudices of society, and being places on schizophrenic patients, to looking at the way the schizophrenic patient is not a...
Oh yeah, that cap on the Simrell. The actual stem alone runs around $100, right? But it’s that cap—with its heat retention and space-age look—that’s like $200. It’s the kind of upgrade that would be the maraschino cherry on top of any at-home rig. I could definitely see myself snagging the cap...
Thanks for the breakdown—that’s super helpful. If I upgrade from the Omni XL Titanium, I’d probably go with the Hyperdyn. Anything else in the DV lineup (besides the Simrell) feels more like a sidestep—maybe a refinement, but not a big leap. The Hyperdyn seems like it would actually change the...
My model is like 10 years old. My partner shoved tissue inside of it to "clean it" once, and she ended up buying me a new inner stem once, but other than that I haven't had to replace anything on it. It's been a very faithful, reliable piece of equipment. I use it out of the Chill Steel Pipe now...
Just cleaned the Chill Steel Pipe for the first time. It was as easy as taking an alcohol swab and reaching inside of the bottom of the mouth piece where it screws in and wiping it off. No buildup of residue on the inside of the main chamber with how high I fill the water.
Wrong about the seafoam green one lol. That one is a Carvin IB70 bass with ebony fretboard and stainless steel frets, a custom model, very rare. I got it used from my bass teacher. And the other is an Ibanez fretless 5 string hallow bass with topaz fretboard, which I got as a graduation present...
Just tried the bonger. I actually find that I like the grip on the dynavap XL titanium a lot more than the small area to hold onto the Bonger. I will use the bonger once this glass piece breaks, but a dynavap mouthpiece to 8-14mm adapter out of a Chill Steel Pipe is the perfect piece for me. I...
My throat gets very sore after using weed all the time, and I tend to use the bud just before it combusts, but without turning to ash on the dynavap. I've found that smaller rigs tend to hurt my throat, but I do tend to have more sensitive skin than most people. I'm glad your rig works for you...
Interesting the science behind it. I don't feel less high, but it could have some sort of effect I'm not aware of. It cools the vapor a lot when it hits my lungs a lot with the ice.
Here's my new Chill Steel Pipe. I broke 4 pieces off of the Mega-Globe. It was a bong which the base never broken, miraculously, after 3 years. The philosopher Gilles Deleuze talks about the nature of the crack. It accumulates microscopically, it's not always easy to see until a rupture emerges...
