So, I did find a seller on DHgate: Pearls on DHgate This one sells various materials and sizes. I was looking for 6mm, but they have from 3 to 10mm IIRC. Quartz $16/100, SiC $39/100, Ruby $66/100 and Sapphire $93/100.

I've gotten SiC in 3, 4 and 6mm from a company called Beracky via Amazon. Been a minute, tho.

That load looks very much like mine; I coarse grind so as to pass as little through the glass screen as possible, and I'd say filled about as deep. I'm using the short bowl from QS, however. I had been going at 666F, and have since tried a couple at 700. Got LOTS of research to do, of course...

What temps are you guys running your Qaromas at? I've been experimenting from 666-700, and while I'm getting *massive* tasty rips, my ABV seems VERY light compared to what I see from my Mighty+, let alone my Dynas.

Hmmm... I was under the impression the bowls had a glass "screen", no metal in the airpath at all... I'm speaking of the Qaroma, now. Different bowls maybe?

Could I ask why? I'm waiting on a Qaroma, and ordered the glass ones. What do you find pesky about them?
