Some Cap Junky from Panda Farms. The appealing name is what got me to want to try this strain and I think this is the first time I’ve seen it around. Looks real nice to me in the pics but I wish I could take the pic so that it looked the way I see it, where it looks even better. Time to fire up...
I was curious about their app and found myself impressed that no tracker signatures were detected in it: https://reports.exodus-privacy.eu.org/en/reports/com.pixelfed/latest/ (4 in the Instagram app + it wants twice as many permissions...
Earlier I was having my first vape of the day while reading the forum, saw that, and ordered one before I even finished the session; can't wait to try it out, been wanting one for a while and the deal was too good to pass on!
Sorry, I don't have a picture but does anyone know the name of an older, expensive ($1000+, iirc) vaporizer that is long out of production that had a sort of briefcase form factor and when opened resembled some kind of mini DJ equipment? It was hit through a whip and may have had a second whip...
I put some on the end of a small silicone spatula, lick it off of that with the bottom of my tongue, and let it sit there for a minute or so before swallowing; usually takes 10 – 15 minutes to start feeling it. Some gets on my teeth but it doesn’t bother me; it doesn't take long to go away and I...
Nice, thanks! I never used rayon but that's another material I remember people using. Since posting earlier I remembered that I also have a box full of degummed hemp fiber that I never played around with. Glad some of this stuff can be used in my other vapes; sounds like I got a few materials...
I see "vape wool" and "vape cotton" mentioned in these threads and while I see vape wool is a specific retail product is "vape cotton" just whatever organic unbleached cotton someone would use to make ecig wicks with? I've been meaning to try with some of the cotton I used to use for that but...
Without the debowling spike it would definitely be a lot less convenient to empty a bowl that has cooled down. The one I have has holes around the edge too and they're pretty good for holding a heat wand/rod, like for the Chameleon Glass Hash Pipe, while you wait for it to cool back down.
Yep, I've been using a silicone ashtray in a similar way and it is by far the best way to empty the bowl that I've come across; just tap it on the side. I like when the whole pack comes out as a single puck too.
A bit of both I think, with AMD the drivers are open source and are included in the Linux kernel; you just pop the card in and that's all. With NVidia they need to be manually installed.
Over time the reasons to continue using Windows only seem to get fewer and fewer! I switched my main desktop over a while back and was surprised by how good gaming on it was, performance is nice (often slightly better than Windows on the same hardware) and a very surprising number of the games I...
New KDE campaign to attract people with non-Windows 11 compatible computers to Linux: https://www.theregister.com/2025/06/04/kde_windows_10_exiles/ !
I hope the campaign is a success in spite of my doubts...
