I like to use the ABV later, and doing this makes it impossible to get the hash out of the hemp fiber after it crumbles to a powder. I also like to chop up / stir the hash after one heat cycle inside the tip (with the digger outer) without having to dump it out.
I have this same problem! Although I use sticky pressed hash, one heat cycle turns it into dry crumble, and those particles would get into my airway and really irritate worse than smoke. I realised just how much was getting into my throat when I started using a bubbler and it would have...
It's perfectly logical - Because Ti is less dense (has less mass per unit volume), it heats faster than SS, because there is less metal to heat in the same volume tip. It cools faster for the same reason. Also, the Ti stems and tips are noticeably lighter in hand for this very reason - less...
It's a very high res photo - if you open it and see it full-size, you can see all the fine detail in the etching; gives it a very nice grippy matte surface.
FWIW, I experienced rusting on the DYNAVAP logo on the cap when I had it kept unused for an extended period in very humid environment. It’s the newer 19 cap where they surface etched the logo. The rust came off with light sanding, but cosmetically the etched letters now look corroded.
Nothing fancy; just the elegant basics that I enjoy. Upgraded with a Ti tip this year, which I am soon going to test with the finest water sieved and warm pressed hash ala Frenchy Cannoli. Yum.
I said cooling engineering, not airflow. The real difference in airflow is because of the notches in the tip because it creates space on the top under the cap. But really any differences are quite subtle.
True, but it just seemed to me like it was a change for the sake of change. Possibly not tested adequately, where the earlier airpath has been refined and proven.
Looks like my gut feeling about those serpentine grooves was right. See my earlier post where I said I wasn’t convinced it was anything more than a cosmetic change, and that from a cooling engineering standpoint helical path is best. I know this because my father got his PhD in cooling using...
The seller has solid reviews, the huge numbers with issues referred to DHgate and the way it tends to flag CC fraud alerts with banks apparently. I believe the problem is because I am currently outside the US and attempted to pay using my US card.
