but I did reach a solution with them and stated so in my above posts. They gave me the option of their way or the highway and I chose the latter. It's cool if you guys want to jump through their hoops to eventually get what you want. I just choose not to. That's not being disrespectful. It just...
I'm afraid that, short of DaVinci getting back to me and wanting to work it out (and I'm not holding my breath till then), it's between me and myself now. They just weren't reliable enough to depend on.
They said they own the factory in China, so technically they are manufacturing it. Most...
I never yelled at anyone but if you can't be frank with a company but have to walk around on eggshells and then answer the troll's questions 3, that's not a company I really want to deal with. Lesson learned.
P. S. During the brief time I had a working one I found there was no learning curve...
You're making my point for me. If it's this hard to get a working unit from them I'll pass.
Maybe the first and second units you purchased were from the original batch which had severe problems? What model number do you have? 1AA1 or 2AA1?
It's 2AA1
How many other companies have you dealt...
I would only be angry if I had to continue to plead and struggle like some beggar to get what I already paid for. If the company is that inflexible I'd rather not deal with them. I'm glad your persistence paid off but I'm getting too old to wait around for some company to try to get it right...
Well, not the lawyer's who works for DaVinci, that's for sure! Sorry, but with your attempts to divert the issue into relativism I'm assuming that's who you are. Nice try! However, short of them wanting to make this right with me and attempting to do something about it I'm washing my hands of...
While I understand your lawyerly answer I'm sick of companies fleeing behind a clever warranty and not standing behind their product. You're saying the responsibility lay with the retailer I bought it from. I'm guessing because I don't know what LHS is yet. However, they already replaced it...
Hey, vapsters! I want to relate my experience with this unit to you. When it first came out I was intrigued by the advertised all glass vapor path and promise of a clean tasting vapor. I've tried a number of portable vaporizers and most of them seem to impart some sort of flavor to the...
I know I don't have to but when what was essentially a witty barb against someone most of us will admit was being a real jerk is removed and met with the email "Your comment serves no purpose, other than to escalate arguing. Please stick to the thread topic or refrain from posting." that tells...
Huh?! That a-holes comments stand; everyone else just gets a warning but my comments (which were essentially just an eyeroll at the idiot) get removed outright and I'm threaten with being banned. I'll save you the trouble. The moderator here is obviously an idiot so peace out everyone. Enjoy the...
Yep. I bought mine from an ebay dealer (just avoid a-holes Clearance Products ; > ). Arizer will want to see your invoice. Other than that it should be no problem.
LOL. I guess everyone with a smelly solo got that form letter from Kevin. It's their way of addressing the problem while at the same time denying there's any problem at all. Could come in handy in a class action lawsuit or something, not that I wish that on them. They seem like a very cool...
Good idea but you need an option for those of us who returned foul smelling units. My first was an M104 - silver, ceramic and it went back to be replaced with a black M105 unit that has no smell issues. Hope that helps.
No worries. I wasn't taking offense to your comments. I could see that you agreed but I just wanted to let people know that from my end this is not an emotional debate but just my honest perceptions of both. I was looking for a replacement after my iolite died and I heard about the mflb. It...
