All you do is unscrew the atomizer and take tweezers to the bowl to take it out. If it is too waxy you can warm up the atomizer by heating up the device, and then the tweezers should be able to take them out. I'd suggest reverse ceramic tweezers, you can look them up on amazon. It wasn't a super good explanation but, you aren't meant to do it. Completely agree. I wish he could push a firmware update, but he told me he couldn't. So going forward, the new units will be good. The people who already have one would have to send theirs back to get it resolved.
