Well maybe you're correct, all I know is since Christmas I have only seen one update available, which I now have successfully installed. Yeah, Venty and all second hand electronic equipment should be purchased at your own risk, I fully agree.

Some of the updates? I thought there had only been one installable update since release (which I installed with zero issues) which was designed to fix the E04 messages, not create them or sift out dodgy units. This wisdom applies to all second hand goods imo, as I outlined above.

I dunno about the warranty, my assumption is that it would not be covered as its registered to the individual. When you buy anything second hand there is always a chance that its gonna fail or not be in the best of shape. I mean after all, we can't control how a user treats a device prior to...

I too live in the UK, and it was hot hot for a few days last week. Unless that bbq I had was all imaginary. I do however live in the south east, which is renowned for having 'better' weather usually. My point? Contrary to popular belief, the UK can sometimes have decent weather.....sometimes 😉

Don't feel sorry for me mate, my Venty is still banging the drum daily. Great vape, I loves it. I've not had to use S&B customer service much, so I'm no expert like you, but on the one occasion I did have to (mighty case - the zip went tits up), they just sent me a new one, no questions asked...

Well it's been worth if for me. I'm still loving and hitting my Venty daily (have been since Christmas). Maybe S&B like me, or I fluked it...either way no issues here so far. Ofc I'll be sure to post here if I get the dreaded E04 msg or my Venty blows up, but I'm fairly confident it won't...

Just use it and if it borks, send it back. I've been lucky (so far) me thinks, my Venty is still banging the drum and I've used it daily since Christmas. Who knows, maybe your new Venty is like mine... you won't find out unless you keep chuffing on it though.

No issues with mine so far. Used it daily since I opened the beast on Christmas day. If I do get any issues I'll be sure to report them here, but so far so good. For transparencies sake, my Venty was purchased directly from S&B the moment they went live again after the initial problems.

I think it's dirty. I just checked my Mighty bowl and it wasn't the coating that came off like I thought, it was way darker, like yours. I used the same S&B brush with my Mighty for a long time, I also used the same brush for cleaning my TM2 stem etc. I think my brush was picking up oil and...

Mine does not have the coating on it at all, also your bowl looks slightly different to mine. My bowl has ridges running up the side. I purchased mine when they came back in stock after the initial launch fiasco, I dunno if they changed some things in between that time frame?
