The active ingredient in One Step is the same as Oxiclean, sodium percarbonate. The One Step also has some citric acid, which is kind of confusing as that would kind of balance out the pH of the solution...regardless, the One Step is safer than the Oxiclean.
Ok found it. Made by Perk Tech. It's a fritted barrel apparently. It's just that it's a fine frit that gave it the "solid frosted glass" look I was talking about, whereas the DG pieces are about as coarse of a frit filter as you can get (probably to minimize drag).

If your slide/dome is stuck due to congealed wax just lightly heat the joint with your torch. The wax will free its grip immediately.
To prevent it from happening in the first place you can put any sort of chapstick or a dab of petroleum jelly on the joint.
