The active ingredient in One Step is the same as Oxiclean, sodium percarbonate. The One Step also has some citric acid, which is kind of confusing as that would kind of balance out the pH of the solution...regardless, the One Step is safer than the Oxiclean.

If your slide/dome is stuck due to congealed wax just lightly heat the joint with your torch. The wax will free its grip immediately. To prevent it from happening in the first place you can put any sort of chapstick or a dab of petroleum jelly on the joint.
