I might say they've removed the limiter instead of overclocking. It's just letting you more control over that powerful heater that's already built in. throttle control I suppose you could say :)
Like most apps that aren't published, you have to be invited through their software delivery...
Yes, so the software (operating system and app) are what you use to connect to your device and send commands to the firefly. The Firmware (rules for how the hardware interprets commands, read-only) lives on the FF2. So software sends commands to the hardware and firmware interprets those...
Check the mouthpiece, check the seal for debris to make sure you are getting the lid set right. You should be getting vapor with long steady draws. High is my favorite setting.
Yep you've got it. Hold down both until green solid light then do a long draw to build up vapor. Stir the bowl every 4 hits or so. Download the app and you can adjust temperature settings to your preference. You can also change which buttons you want to activate the FF2.
Enjoy!! :)
Agreed, there is definitely some overlap. I haven't received the complete details on how the power tuning feature works or the full release notes, but after testing a ton of settings (and vaping way too much this weekend :p) I think I know how it functions.
FF2 uses close to full strength of...
Not sure if anyone mentioned this already, but Firefly has some firmware and software updates in testing that lets you tune the power up or down on each of the heat settings. They've also fixed the battery sensor issue in the app.
I've been testing the updates for the last 3 days. Great changes...
I'm sure there was some lighting involved as I can make huge looking, dense clouds with the right lighting too https://www.instagram.com/p/BGPPZHmPz37/
Getting vapor in 10 seconds is easy for me now. There was a learning curve however and videos like this help shorten that.
Tip for preventing holes from getting clogged:
After you remove the concentrate pad and wipe out the bowl, you can put the lid back on, take a quick draw with an empty bowl for 5-10 seconds and you'll see some of the concentrate residue seep up through the holes. wipe down the bowl again and...
For me the FF2 had a lot longer learning curve than I expected. I used OG FF often and still took me a couple of weeks to get my technique down.
I usually get 2-3 hits before I have to stir. Sometimes only 2 if they are really large (usually are for me :p). I get consistently good vapor every...
The first charge on my unit took longer than expected I was worried too, after a few hours it finally turned solid. Seems like it charges very fast now 30-45 mins and I see solid blue. Use a charger recommended in their manual.
Still using my FF2 every single day. Perfect for taking quick rips...
Usually means they just created the label and it will update when it is picked-up/dropped off at Fedex.
@darkrom Totally agree with you on high tolerance and how FF2 is definitely helping. I have not been using nearly as much materials for my insanely high tolerance lately.
Good...
@slick I think it is. Not sure how to exactly explain it yet, but the Firefly 2 is really good at extracting your materials. I'm getting much more medicated. I've used these same strains on my FF1 and Pax 2 and while still getting high, FF2 does it with less material.
Perhaps the cooler vapor...
