Contacted DV regarding my DOA unit. Initially spoke to Arron who seemed very apologetic and helpful. Indicated I would need to leave it charging a bit longer, but if no action after 10 hours than contact them and they will provide a return shipping label. In the meantime the sent a email...

Any update on this? I also received an apparently DOA unit today. Exhibits similar issues - couldn't power up and plugged into charger does nothing either. So much for DVs additional QC guarantee!! Not happy and the wait continues! Just my luck :)

I ended up cancelling my order that I had with TV and got one through DV directly. According to the tracking info I should have the unit in my hand tomorrow morning. Am hoping the info we've been hearing regarding no duty being applied to Euro bound units is the same for us. I could swallow...

I have a question for other Canucks who got their units directly through DV - how much were you charged for shipping and did you incur any customs/duty charges? Trying to determine if I should just bite the bullet and order through them as I am getting beyond fed up waiting for TV to eventually...

Understood that you will be releasing units to those that preregistered/ordered on DV's site in the order they were received, however will units be send to GV & TV before any additional rounds of preregistration/orders are to to be done by DV??

Nice that you will start to leak some orders to GV shortly, but what about showing some love for TV??????

I feel that DV could have said to not expect the shipments until 2-8 weeks after they begin filling their own preorders instead of allowing the wholesalers (who they selected to act for sellers on their behalf) regardless of if this went against what TV and GV were advising potential customers...

Part of the problem has been the communication or lack thereof from DV themselves. The TV site which I ordered from initially indicated the pre orders would be among the first to receive them. Seeing as TV received a demo unit quite early it appeared they had a pretty good relationship with DV...

It's good to hear DV finally after all the repeated delays has these units rolling to to eager customers who managed to navigate their way to preorder through DV directly. I chose to preorder through TorontoVaproizers as I live in Canada and in addition to having to pay additional shipping...

DV, could you provide any further insight as to what "due time" may constitute in reference to getting GV and TV their units to begin fulfilling their presales? We've been patiently waiting too :)
