So I've been getting a little over 40% yields with the solventless hash I posted on the last page. Lowered the temp after a couple presses. Found a way to increase pressure with my limited setup. But it's goldenish clear! Flavor is Ok.

Are people having more success with stainless steel screens?

So I picked up a hair straightener, some parchment paper, and some unbleached coffee filters. This did seem to work somewhat, but a lot the oil got stuck in the filter I feel like. I guess I should've weighed the material before, then the rosin after if I really want to see what the yields are...

Is there any store I can pick some screens up at? Or do I need to order this stuff online?

This is what it looked like pressed. Could I just fold this up and press it in parchment/wax paper? Or would something like a coffee filter or tea bag be a good enough filter? Or do I need to go buy a specific micron (25) screen to do this? If so, is stainless steel better, or these mesh bags?
