Arizer determined that something was amiss with the heating and that it could "not be repaired with a high level of confidence so it was replaced." Needles to say, I am pretty happy with this resolution. Thank you Arizer!
The mail is still getting delivered. The only thing that I am aware of is ban on overtime, so it might be a bit slower than usual. Arizer used UPS to return the device.
I had the crispy result with all three of the Grove bags that I have tried. I agree, jars are the way. They do take up more room, but the results are worth it.
I had to pack my vape away on vacation, so I decided to roll a J for that night. I got almost halfway through before deciding that I did not want to get high that badly. Yuck.
I don't suffer from GERD anymore so I don't have any direct answers. One thought it that without combustion you are getting more terpenese inhaled and that may be irritating things. Using very cold water in the bong might cause more of these to get condensed out, it is worth an experiment...
I don't have this problem and have never heard of it before. Sadly, you are going to have to send it back to Arizer. On the bright side, their tech support is good.
I picked up one on the used market that is in great shape and has the flight kit. I am amazed at how simple and yet how effective it is. And tasty! Did I mention tasty? It is a wonderful thing to slip in your pocket when out for a walk.
I read it as "the software does not read the temperatures at startup and instead displays canned suggestions". I don't recall that being the case the last time I programmed it. I will try to remember to test this out today.
AFAIK those sites are basing that information on an incorrect understanding of how boiling point is measured and the physics of vaporization in a mixed compound (weed in our case). I was big on distilling alcohol for several years and you will get compounds coming out of the still long after...
@gheebee I can't see why that stem would be unsafe to use. It looks like there is a very small gap around the glass screen on some stems and the resin (diluted with ISO) can flow in there. I doubt that you can get enough ISO in there to dissolve it further. More heat will just darken it.
@seedy53 But if the vape is working properly then better insulation should just result in it turning off the heater sooner. It cycles on and off to maintain the set temperature. It sounds like one of them is not sensing the temperature correctly. 20c is a lot! Or maybe the new tubes make the...
