Can do that. Simply loose the screw and take the parts apart? Do I have to pay special attention to anything that can fall aprt and is complicated to fit back in place? Im not the most versatile guy in such matters 😅
I got mine in the mail today. In comparison to the simrell and the new convector it was very fast delivery. No customs trouble at all (experienced quite the opposite with the others and still waiting for customs to clear my convector v2 for about a week now…) @Brenyo perfect job :)

The silver polishing sticks from amazon work fine for all of my devices (ss & ti). For me its more convenient than operating with a polish paste. Its just the rougher side to get rid of the scratches (and oxidation, finger-fat burn marks) followed by the smoother side for the shining :)

Ah one thing i forgot. I was getting perfect results since i started to position the torch in a 45 degree angle towards the top (instead of nearly 90 degree where i occasionally combusted)
Simrell demonstrated that in one of the first livestreams.
