Ahhh the heat lock! I leave the cap very loose and I'm still getting locked up when using the wand. I have to use pliers even after it's cooled and apply way more torque then I'd like. This thing is a beast. It has pretty repeatable results but for me the only inconsistency is the heat...

Never had to stir. I dislike it too.

I'm having heat lock issues. I leave it unscrewed almost half a turn. Maybe its the wand? I have to keep a set of pliers on hand when using.

Never been a fan of ballsmouthpiece combos. After you inhale a mouthful of balls you'll never trust them again.

I used the tool to tighten just 2 "fins" that were opposite each other to the point were it was difficult to put on. After easing it on gently it's pretty secure. It's good they included this tool but should this be an issue?

Hot hot hot! I fired it up with the super cap on the hook last night. Wayyyy too hot. Then I used the regular cap. Not as hot, but still hot. Taste is nice but even on a hook she's hot. Great effects, hot throat, lots of coughing.

If you install it right it doesn't fall out. Follow the instructions and it's pretty snug. All about o ring placement.

My new one looks like your old one. Maybe I got old stock. Your new one looks pretty beat up. I hope they didn't change the quality.

I think you're on to something with the light sips and reduced time. I attempted Lee's 5sec method and the 1st couple of hits were ok, but that 3rd was a wall of heat. It's cool to see the vapour down the stem inbetween hits.
