Is there any way that the Vapexhale can mate with Vriptech WT and bowl? I'm very attached to my VWT, but I'd like to have something that could do as good a job as the Vriptech HW without being so fragile and prototype-looking/feeling.
Does anyone know of a source for the silicone tubing from which they cut the tip seals for the VHW? I haven't been happy with the ones Vriptech sent me because they're not cut squarely. That causes the side with the wider piece of silicone to slide off the end of the VHW because there's uneven...
A lot of people say that and that's why I'm asking "Why?" Do you like the way it looks (aesthetics) or some aspect of the way it performs (functionality)? Does it have to do with the abstract idea that glass-on-glass is somehow "superior" or is there a reason it actually is superior?
I can...
I'm currently using a VHW and a VWT-Pro with the slider stem and the grommeted bowl. I'm looking at the GonG lower bowl and the Gong down stem. They certainly look cool, but I'm wondering how much functional difference they would make to the vripping experience. In the conventional setup...
I spoke with Mark McCoy last night. He told me that the new heater covers also have heavier glass for the internal baffles and that they've worked out how to align the heater so it doesn't make contact with the glass. That should eliminate the problems some of us have had with the internal...
I have to differ with you here. The business end of the VHW gets up past 300F, which is plenty hot to burn you (or a surface on which you put it).
At the highest setting, the AVB gets medium-dark brown. I've never had the substance ignite.
Admittedly, I didn't read every word of the 29 pages in this thread, but I did search for every instance of "silicone". My silicone sleeve got hard, cracked, and is in the process of crumbling into silicone dust. I didn't read about that happening to other users. Has anyone else had this...
