I did a dry burn, but there was no smell at all anyway. I think they do several serious dry burns before they ship out.
I put my batteries in + down, - to the cover.
You can leave the pick attached and just out of the way. I posted a picture or two earlier of it with the battery in and pick...
I've got the alien as well, that and an RX200.
My two-year old batteries work perfectly fine there and last a damn good while, but as soon as I stick them in the Milaana or any of my other mech mods the hits feel weak after the first two, maybe three.
That's with cooking it for about 5-6...
This actually makes a lot of sense. I get the best results with my brand new HG2 set, and while my 2 year old batteries work perfectly fine I only get two good hits before it starts feeling like the LGs after an entire bowl. They just can't hold their charge as well anymore, especially in a mech...
Yeah, unfortunate.
Looks like he's got it handled, it'll just take some time to update them all.
Glad I have my Milaana as well! Should buy a sticky brick, just in case...
I haven't been stirring at all, I just rotate it about 30° clockwise every hit or two. Perfect distribution :D
Maybe if I packed less in there it'd obviate the need for turning it, too.
OK so mine has a gap too, but I haven't had anything drop in yet. How are you packing the stem? I find I'm getting better results with a bit of a tighter pack, and I tap it in my hand a few times before putting it on the body to get any loose herb out preemptively.
It's such a neat little...
Damn that's pretty! Is that the walnut?
And I'm not sure about the gap, I'll take a look at mine and report back in a few minutes.
Also, mine arrived early and I spent yesterday getting technique down. This thing is a beast! :D
That's what I've been doing. I don't soak it, but what I'll do is put it sideways into the container so that about half of it is covered in Iso and then pick it up with my thumb and index covering the holes.
Shake it vigorously for about 30 seconds and that should do the trick. I haven't...
Woohoo! Come back and tell us all about it! If, that is, you can still think straight :p
And my Milaana is en route! If it's here by Saturday I'll be quite a happy camper. Good thing I've got the FW4 to keep me company till then :D
I like using it without the CU for as long as it's comfortable, and then putting it on when it gets to be a bit too much. More airflow when used native, but the CU definitely does its job.
I'm gonna use it short for a few days and then I'll decide whether to get a ddave kit or something. Hopefully I like it hot, I've been fueling my VAS enough already! Lol
