Hi Lennon. Copper will oxidise over time forming a green patina called verdigris and so is not ideal. Aluminium has been linked to some health issues and so is probably best avoided, It's not entirely clear what you mean by pipe. Perhaps if you could post a picture of the vape you made it...

Hmm.. so you'd need a log with a heater cover/core diameter with either a 12mm external diameter so that the stem could go over the heater cover or with a 14mm internal diameter so that the stem could go into the heater cover. So to get this to work you'd have to buy a length of stainless steel...

I don't have an Arizer stem to hand. Could you tell me what the internal diameter of the stem is?
