In my opinion if there isn't enough butane for the dab to sizzle, there's no way in hell there's enough to make such an overpoweringly bad flavor. Dabs kinda taste bad if they are purged hot so it could be that.

I still need to try some rosin. I never have bud around so I'll have to make a special trip for my first experiment. Although from what I've seen from this thread I think I'll try it with bubble and see what happens.

If you're going for cheap, Altitude West/East have the cheapest wax and shatter I know of for rec. TC labs processes their stuff and it's usually okay.
