Just loaded my 18mm GonG stem that I got a little while ago and noticed that it was blown crooked lol... whaaaaatever.. time to vape!
PV better be getting a lot of glass because I think every one in this thread has talked about getting more when they re-stock! I have a feeling they will be...
As has been mentioned, there is no "newest" model number. On the bottom of the Solo is a manufacturing serial number that Arizer says does not indicate a model number.
So basically Arizer's production numbers are a jumbled mess and they keep making changes so no one will ever really know how the damn thing is supposed to work. Love it.
Oh I have definitely been scoping out those stems by Ed. They are always out of stock though!
I don't have a PA myself but I seem to recall other people saying that with some newer models the PA was doing that as well, it doesn't bypass the battery, it charges and heats like the normal charger...
To see if it heats while charging.. plug it in so it is charging, then try heat it up. :)
If the charging light is blinking and the heat light is blinking with it coming up to temp, then you know. I don't have an older model without but i'm assuming it just won't heat up while plugged in...
Well maybe it wasn't a design goal but it's a glaring flaw in my mind. Not many.. but that's one.
It's things like this that make it very hard to be "portable" .. there are others better for portable use. My Solo is just used inside.
Definitely agree with you that better instructions are needed.
With that said, while it may be more of a pain in the ass vs smoking.. it sure tastes and feels way better. After vaping for a week I had a couple bong hits and man is that ever gross comparatively lol. With vaping the effects are...
I see your point OF... Arizer only sells the straight stem and the bent stem. They don't sell GonG's like PV so I guess it shouldn't be a surprise if they don't fit and fall out as they didn't intend people to use those and then flip them upside down in a bubbler. I also understand what you're...
I unscrewed the top cap and you get what you see in my picture earlier. Then I pressed down on the inner part of the black ring (you can see it is flared up a bit in the middle, my guess is from pushing the largest of the stems in and then pulling out, stretching the ring up with it as it is...
That does seem to be it Pipes. I pushed a little bit on the inner edges to make it less flared out. As I can see it looks very easy to crack/chip. I also don't want to push too much and make the whole ring go too low?
It's a bit better now but seems real easy to make the ring worse (left some...
Well god damnit man i'm getting pretty frustrated with this vaping technology.. So far i've only been running my new solo with a 14mm pvhes gong, I decided to try a session with the stock stem (they sent me 2 new stems with my warranty replacement so I now have 4), I chose the NEW straight one...
