Sounds kind of like what some say about the dynavap: small grind for extraction quickness, whole buds or close to for flavor. I wonder why that is. Can’t wait to play with it.

Indeed! As I understand it, bone dust is tiny and sharp and doesn't break down or get out easily once inhaled. Most particles wreak havoc in but bone causes particularly nasty problems.

I know that working with bone you should absolutely avoid breathing in any dust whatsoever. I've smoked out of antler, which is close to bone. Maybe?

Hi all, I've got one coming in used, no mod. What are the inner/outer diameter of the glass bit? has anyone tried using the ember on anything besides the wooden pipe? perhaps a glass stem? Also I'm curious how peeps with the Ember feel about the stock mod vs others, for a first time buyer. Thanks!
