I think your right about the slop, and permitting airflow seems to be designed that way. Will try you tip for filling less, and not use the pusher. That thing gets hot as hell.

I did read the guide said 5 - 10 sec for inhale, then it said 15 below. I have timed my inhale to be at least 10 sec but that's a bit difficult for me. I do get a little vapor, doesn't really increase per round though. I'm going to try and cook it first as recommended when back from vacation...
