Yes, I start at 180 degrees, drink my coffee and raise it gradually, slowly until 210-213. I don't have a problem with the long stem because I only use it in my house and friends houses....unfortunately I have a sensitive throat for the short stem.

Yes,it's bad for portability.....I carry it in a small bag.

session time 15-18 ,if i use the short glass ......the sore throat is sure.........only with this large stem.

I had the same dilemma between the v3 pro and Argo. I chose Argo and I am very happy with it(I like long sessions). But since you have the solo2 ....go for v3 pro which has a different vaping. I plan to buy it,for backup.
