I clean mine with denatured alcohol cause it's cheaper than isopropyl. After half a year of daily usage the gasket is deformed and needs replacement, but Im not sure if the alcohol or the heat is causing it to degrade

Agreed. My AVLP has seen tons of abuse (and I really mean abuse), yet the gasket still seals tightly without needing to squeeze it. Squeezing is only necessary if you use dosing capsules without the disc, although in my experience even with the disc you need to have it not screwed all the way...

I haven't received my V2 yet, so I can't comment on that. Although from the pictures I have seen I don't expect there to be a difference

The uneven heating is fixed with the 15mm mesh screen mod that many people here use instead of the golden micro dosing disc. And as long as you set the temperature to a high enough level you get strong hits right from the start. Yeah, it obviously gets outperformed by a Tinymight or Venty. But...

Can you confirm if the door of the V1 fits on the V2?

Shouldn't be too difficult to laser cut some custom replacements. I really don't understand why they felt the need for this when the fabric on the V1 was pretty durable and not nearly as hideous. The air bubbles can likely be fixed by simply poking a tiny hole with a needle to let out the air...

I was quoting the previous post which includes a link to a review with pictures of the device. I thought the context made it clear I was referring to how the device looks on those pictures. I have pre-ordered mine in April, but as far as I can tell no European pre-orders have shipped yet
