I use the silicon one, it's more than deep enough, if you have the little support for the wand it's even easier. Place the adapter in and then use a credit card to help push it up to the correct level (this give about 1mm of space between the desk and the adapter.

I dunno, when I use the direct it looks like the vapor is whispy coming down. I've looked at the vapor production on videos I recorded. I tried the tempest again and still can't get it to give me dense vapor. I did a "cold start" 3 times on Tuesday. This is where I just put the tempest...
