    I think you are only the 3rd person to comment about my avatar in the last 9 years...lol Simmons' is a fantastic author and the Cantos is my all time favorite series. Read it over every 4-5 years. Always nice to go back to that universe. Thx for the comments.

    Hey man, I recognize your user name as the same as a guy I used to play a lot of Quake 2 with back in the late 90s. I think I was using the name kynde or tweez0r back then. I think the guy was from NJ. Just kind of came to mind when I was reading your post. Who knows, don't let me freak you out haha

    Hi drewper,

    Not me...but that's cool that you remember someone with that name from back in the 90's. I left 'Jersey around early 80's & watched people play Quake 2, but never played it myself.

    Any way...glad to meet you regardless. Loved the character of the Shrike so much from the books that it just seemed a natural to use as my avatar.
