Qaroma/Taroma/Ceroma by QaromaShop

I really want to grab a Qaroma to compliment my Ceroma, just hate that shipping charge! It’s not terrible if you buy a full kit or a big order, but piecing things out the shipping feels like so much!

I haven’t touched my HR since I found a temp I like on my Ceroma…
I'm not sure of your location, but Ritual in the states now has Qaroma kits and individual Qaroma housings available on their site.

Since we're talking taste here.. curious if anyone can speak on the flavor difference (if any?) between the Qaroma vs Qaroma XL?

My feeling was more surface area from the XL would translate to better possibilities but I haven't ever really heard a comparison.

The titanium bowl definitely has another angle for delicious taste and a stronger effect. It totally satisfies, me.

The OG Qaroma holds the crown when it comes to flavor! The QXL can get you a whole lot of everything all at once, and doesn't allow you to notice the subtle differences...imho of course

@Big Country (or anyone who has one) How delicate is the Quaroma ? Smash wise (as opposed to taste)
I have an almost pure(with a tiny bit of titanium) diy glass pathway, its really tasty and works good, alot like a herborizer in how it vapourises, but my Ceroma (Ma Ma Ma Ma Ma Ma Ma MY Ceroma. Sorry.expect no one remembers the The Knack.) has a more mass, and works in a different way. Takes the bowl to dark dark brown quicker, without burning it, no need to stir small loads. And to be honest, its pretty tough. Dropped on carpet from 1 meter and rolled onto concrete , and dropped directly on tiles without damage! I suspect it would not survive that again. will report if and when.
The Quaroma is stunning looking and all quartz. if it really outclasses the Ceroma/Teroma tastewise I would like to go with that instead of the taroma(when i'v sold my car. and maybe a leg.) lack of warranty and the price to replace it combined with my Hulk nature worry me. My magpie nature says buy it and fill it with sapphires. My lady says fuck off your kidding, youve got enough already. I may convince her. she has forgotten about the portable.( so have I, they dont work for me)
Maybe if i give Her the sapphires..... i could get a taroma too!

I too am curious about the taste and power differnce between the Ceroma and the Taroma? And the Quaroma?( I have a Ceroma, fantastic, specialy for the price.)
The Taroma definitely performs better (slightly harder couch lock and extraction) and I don't use the ceroma anymore
The difference in price doesn't equal the difference in performance though - but the material costs are different in production
Taste wise there isn't enough difference to worry about, ceroma maybe a little better if you are sensitive to metal
I prefer the Taroma V1 joint and chamber size over the V2

So I don't have the titanium heads, allergy, so my metal comparisons will be based on the Staroma lineup. Taste wise, it's not a fair comparison in my book, the Qaroma is a significant step up in that department. Now as for its fragility, I think that's been blown way out of proportion lol. I've had mine since the release, and just recently dropped it for the first time, from a 2 foot table onto the floor. Now while it did break a thread, it would be usable still, but I had purchased a backup almost immediately due to my not wanting to be without one if an accident did occur, so it has now become my backup. Once assembled it's a fairly solid device, albeit still quartz, so it does require some softer handling than the Taroma and Ceroma heads. The injector joint is quite thick, and that's what I was most concerned about breaking, but no issues yet, knock on wood lol.

Thankyou.
@felvapes it is interesting you prefer the V1 joint, I am curious why ,one day i will get a Taroma but...
@Bigcountryx Thankyou. My Quaroma arrived yesterday from Recomended Vapes. Looks beautiful. I am making a stand to help keep it safe. An upgrade of one i made for my Ceroma.
bUT I cant use iT yet neither my old nor new heater coil fit it right, got to send the new one back and get a QuaromaShop one when back in stock. I dont want to force the Quaroma or have it loose in any way. Luckily I have studied advanced Anti-Frustration Techniques (Sucks hard on Ceroma and big bowlfull)
If I break it I wont blame you,(only a complete fool would do both, and im only half of that amount of stupid), but as it will live in one place I hope to negate my clumsy nature and become as gracefull as the Quaroma looks............ FAT CHANCE.
Thankyou both again. now for a Taroma just to be complete. or greedy. ,maybe years end....... just... ..need..... ....explanation for.... my Lady.

Man I just spent the majority of my night ripping a Taroma 2.0 on the same piece I finished on with a Qaroma XL. Both glass bowls. Holy moly am I glad I followed my curiosity and got the Qaroma, the taste difference is so crazy it's hard to believe they're even related to each other.

Don't get me wrong the Taroma 2 is a great super hard hitter but man the big one is next level, it reminds me of drinking a good DFH beer at warmer temps where you can really taste all the different individual stuff. there's just nothing not to like about the QXL

So pleased to see the discussion turned around a bit. I had thoughts of the Qaromas sitting dormant til the cows came home.

Hey drbadass, I just got the quartz head after spending a couple months with the C T & T-lite having an experience of a lifetime achieving some of the most efficient extraction. I recently fired up the quartz head for the first time matching it with a quartz bowl in lieu of others and was absolutely SURPRISED. I got the longest stoniest cerebral effect over all the other combos, (very different). Our latest rabbit hole thought is leaning towards the Quartz XL. Damn!
Does the XL throw you the same effect or just knocks you out?

Unfortunately, these aren’t made state-side. A lot of stuff comes to us from the same provinces like their PID. I had felt a concern over the warranty, but with similar electronics as others, what’s to go wrong besides the wire configuration, heehee.

Really the only piece you would ‘need’ to buy from Q is the head. You can rewire their coil to a new pinout if necessary, or use any other coil/PID combo you already have that fits. I use a mininail PID wired to a CH coil with my Ceroma.

Glad to hear the results are satisfying on your Q, that is definitely the next desktop item on my list.

Explanation to use: "HONEY, IT'S FOR MEDICINAL PURPOSES".
I tried what you said. She just turned round, shoved a spoonfull of manuka in my mouth and said i shouldnt encorouge dolphins to sell drugs to porpoises.....
You are very much right about the efficiency, had the Ceroma for 11 weeks and with what i saved on medication paid for most of the Quaroma I just got.... but STILL cant use, I want to use my Quaroma, its been sitting protected in a custom stand for over a week, unused. My ceroma coil is about 0.75mm too open, and im worried i have to squish/compress the coil inside the Quaroma to close it. Rec Vapes is out of Quaroma coils, only can get them in the UK.
My DIY glass path with a tiny titanium top has been my main draw, tastes really good but it hits very differently to the Ceroma and doesnt have the efficiency, cant crush a bowl in quite the same way without taking it a little to dark in the centre. The Quaroma coil would fit it perfectly, but i tweaked it to be more stable in the Ceroma. I dont want to risk another make of coil even if i could find one.
Cant afford another Quaroma. Or the body parts my partner would remove if i break it.
Im considering filing a little off the coil top and bottom (0.5mm total might do it) so it fits perfect but the coil sheath doesnt look like very thick metal. Any thoughts?

Hey CG: Tranquilizers are used by millions and Marijuana being one of world's safest. I personally think turkey juice is more dangerous to the body than vape. My wife has accepted fact. I say there is good fortune with any of the Qaroma pkgs.

I am joking, my lovely Lady is the one who convinced me to become a legal patient with a legal prescription earlier this year. Medical Marijuana (the doctors here have decided 'Cannabis' is the 'correct' term. fuck em. Marijuana sounds prettier) is still not common enough in the U.K. and although there are still issues, and some clinics are outright jokes, others are trying in the face of administrative government grind. The issues with supply and quality, particularly certain clinics lying about irradiated cannabis, are still a problem, but there are some good clinics and some very good marijuana as well as some appalling stuff.
Although a Teroma might be a step beyond right now, i did just get a Quaroma. that i still havnt used. Damn. 4.00am (woke at 2)and im going to have to get my files out and have a go at my coil. Cant wait anymore. Wish me luck.....

Marijuana has meant i havnt had to almost perpetualy take opiates for 20 years. I cannot take N.S.A.I.D.s, due to heart stuff and other side effects they have, and the right varieties of Marijuana work better as an anti inflammatory any way, with almost no bad side effects. It doesnt really help me with sleep (after 2 to 3 hours i tend to get muscle spasms) but it really helps me get up and going when i wake and can barely move (the right Sativas are great for that, my all time favourite for morning inflamation was Cinderella-99 but its been a while)).

I do think that with heavy frequent use, even vapourising marijuana(FuckCombustion) risk vs reward needs to be considered (Pulls hard and thoughtfully on big globe with Ceroma on top, giving heavy consideration) . Its less risky than any other options available , and far, far more pleasant and effective. Douglas Adams said it best..... " Mostly Harmless" (from hitchhickers guide to the galaxy)

I think certain terpenes are actualy over harsh with some M.J. which combustion actualy bypasses by burning some off, but ive found can be bypassed when vapourising by altering the temprature , generaly by increasing it. Anyone else find terpenes can be harsher at lower temperatures?

I think smoking/combustion might decarboxylate the thc better, why it first seemed smoking joints was better, but vapourising gives much better terpene levels, and enough decarboxylation to activate them even though its lower temperature, so its far superior medicinaly, even if you dont feel it so much. its just harder and more frequent work to get stoned, (this kind of work, im happy to go harder at it :sherlock: ) and requires the right kit (desktops, as close to pure convection as possible, portables just dont seem do it for me. Hate the popcorn taste. Dont get it with convection. Unless im doing it wrong...)

Also curious what varieties people find medicaly helpful and why? (if we are allowed to discuss that?)
I consider it a healthy obsession..... and easier not vapourising when i dont have any Marijuana. It was really hard not to when i smoked.... Thankfully this month no enforced break for a week...(thanks mainly to the UK Govmnt)
I have only been vapourising for 6 months so im still learning. Please give me your opinions and shoot down any nonsense i spout...
Off to file my Ceroma heatercoil down by less than a millimeter. I may be some time.

If you are considering filing the coil as your ceroma lid won't fully screw on I wouldn't as @Planck mentioned it may hurt the coil

If it won't screw all the way on it probably won't affect the function as usually they are pretty airtight down the airpath by there

But if it annoys you visually like it did me (with ceroma or taroma) try bending the coil in a bees dick - you can see where the coil goes from flat to round towards the handle

I found if you bend it in a little you can get the flat bit in line with the lid and screw it down on those last few threads
It's that round bit that makes it not flush

If that description made sense, I'm a tad stoneded

I have my CH coil stretched so that it acts like a spring, I depress it while screwing on the cap and when I release the entire system is in compression, making it more secure. I have had no issues with the coil or Ceroma oven, have opened and closed him many times.
