Multi-brand HEALTHY RIPS FURY

The plastic lcd screen is glued and simply to remove with phon for heat and use a pin to remove....

Were you able to put it back together so that it works?
I have the sutra version and the paint did not bond well with the alloy. I dropped it in my house and small bits of paint chipped off. I would like to disassemble, remove the coating, and reassemble.

Any chance we can get a schematic or internal pictures of this little wonder???

@StonerSloth, here you go
I have disassemble my vape for look inside :)

Don't be afraid to take a Healthy Rip.

It keeps up. In fact, you get better, denser clouds when you rip it. Very similar to the GH in this regard. Load size very similar as well, in the 0.08 to 0.10 range. Find one or two small greenish flecks at top of load, again, just like the GH.

Still have not had any charring, praise be.

Wish bowl would fit S&B capsules. Don't like loading this, I got spoiled and lazy.

People with weak hands like me will struggle removing the mouthpiece.
I long for a magnetic closure, but perhaps the plastic tab/friction lock will ease up with use.

My vaped pinky finger always wants to block the air inlet holes.
Guess that's a downside of downsizing -- what to do with your last two fingers.

Yay! the upper metal style screen doesn't get fouled very quickly.

@ChooChooCharlie Great to hear you are enjoying your FURY 2! In response to your observation: "My vaped pinky finger always wants to block the air inlet holes." If you put your finger on the intake hole - you will not get any airflow. This is a good thing - it demonstrates that the air path is completely isolated from the electronics and 100% healthy :)

Me2 - thinking out loud: how about some capsules with an o-ring at the top lid, so the silicone+screen can be left out of the mouthpiece. So far that silicone screen holding thingy is the only thing i don't like at the design, there should be a better solution...
For the mouthpiece opening it's a bit of finding the right leverage points - i can do it one handed :p ;)
Try pressing with the thumb against the upper part of Mp from the display side and the index+middle finger at the mouthpiece bottom to hold it

Try using the included WPA as a longer glass mouthpiece for home use - it works incredibly well.

Like this:

fury2-2_orig.jpg

Instructions: Load the bowl on the WPA - then turn the FURY/FURY2 upside down and insert the WPA while the vape is upside down. After inserting the WPA - turn the vape back upright and it is ready to hit. *IMPORTANT - you must heat up the vaporizer before inserting the WPA into the chamber - otherwise it will not slide in.

Hmmmmmm...

My knee jerk reaction is that I don't think that will work with this vape because of the diameter of the oven. Plus I wonder if using a pod would add conduction to the load.

I do like @HealthyRips.com suggestion.

Somewhat related, I will admit to a minor mishap when I was loading this vape (one of my first times). I stupidly pinched myself when reattaching the mouthpiece. I was surprised and the mouthpiece went flying (on to carpet). When that happened, the o ring popped out. So I learned from that - what not to do when reattaching the mouthpiece, and how easy it is to remove and reinstall the o ring.

At least for now, I don't plan to mess with it. I want to see maintenance needs and ease. So far, just a simple brushing...

I do have a suggestion for @HealthyRips.com; what do you think about modifying one of your included tools to put a scoop on one end as a filling tool? A little scoop or spoon (like a salt spoon).

Well Flowermate V capsules fit perfect in the silicone without the screen. They are a bit smaller in diameter than the chamber and a bit longer but bc it's hold by the silicone in the middle that should be a good thing and eliminate some conduction at the beginning.
Did a test pod, so far it works but tbh a bit worse than without it - still needs testing...

*IMPORTANT - you must heat up the vaporizer before inserting the WPA into the chamber - otherwise it will not slide in.
just seen that - maybe add to remove it while it's still warm, guess it won't come out easy if it cools down

Microdosing, anyone?

Just tried the glass adapter. Because it fits inside the stock herb chamber, the depth and diameter are decreased. 0.04g The stock chamber holds 0.08 to 0.1g

Seven holes in its glass screen are small enough to prevent herb passage without restricting flow.

Got two draws using it direct, and it provided good cooling. Got one with a bubbler.

Cranked it up to 220C, abv very dark but still not charred.

Received my FURY 2 yesterday, going to do a couple bowls today with some new herb. Livestream is going to be on Wednesday. I will post a link in a couple days. I will not comment about flavor until the livestream day.

But while I'm posting I'd like to say amazing, stellar job with the glass stem @HealthyRips.com, now you just need a glass capsule system that connects to the blue silicone piece for discrete and faster reloading. If you want any concept designs I can sketch them.

Anyone with a FW4, my capsule fit in while it was warm but this is a risky situation (its tight). I would say anyone who doesn't own FW3+ shouldn't buy capsules to try this but Firewood mouthpiece and capsule can work with the Fury like the glass stem does (just make sure its heated [also rounded end goes in flat end doesn't seem to want]). Also try it fully connected so you can get it out.

Flip it upside down. I wish the display was upside down tbh. I'm not good at reading upside down, but you don't really need to read the screen during your draw, so no biggie. I like knowing that I'm not blocking the intake with my wandering pinkie, but maybe I'm weird.:mental:

One thing I'm finding unique/odd about the Fury 2 is that there seems to be minimal smell and minimal taste from your herbs. That's actually very good for stealth - and given that this is obviously a pocket vape, this is a big plus - but for some reason the device also scrubs the taste out of your vapor somehow?

My current stealth device of choice is a FW4 which definitely has minimal smell (heat on demand only) but very tasty flavorful vapor which makes your whole mouth terpy for half an hour.

I haven't gotten my Fury 2 yet but I have a fenix which is pretty much the same but with a bigger chamber etc. I've gotta say even though it gives huge clouds and very even vapor, the taste isnt that great. I believe if it were a ceramic chamber, it would taste alot better but then again it probably wouldnt perform as well. I'm bettin its the same with the fury. As long as you dont need a bunch of taste though, everything else is on point and tbh the first couple hits dont taste insanely bad, just not really much at all in terms of taste.

I know what you mean, I think its due to the conduction factor.

@Razor maybe its just me but ceramic based items taste worst. This vape has enough ceramic.

I set mine to 333 and I get very nice flavor. Drops off around 370 ish.

Just got to try the wpa. I'd consider flavor on par with cfv nothing beats the flavor of my @Ed's TnT WS tho.

I am about as far from a beginner as you can get- I am 53, have over 20 vapes, and am med compliant in a med state with a license for years- and I like this unit quite a bit. It has its niche as a fast on the go hitter that can be brought up to heat, used quickly, and put away quickly. Its no flavor champ but its buzz is very heady, ime. I was skeptical that something this small could kick my butt, and it does. I was using it with some nicely jar cured LA Chocolat that I had been sitting on for a few months and trying with different vapes. This vape really brought out the headiness of the LA Chocolat much more so than say, my underdog with the steel core (thats the hotter UD in my collection too), or my Solo OG. It gave me that extra top end of the buzz that only my Haze 3 and Vapecap deliver. I like it as much, or maybe slightly more, than my Pax 2 for its discreteness and heady buzz. I think the buzz is a little different, more to my liking, than what I get out of the Pax 2, and this doesn't stink like my Pax 2. I don't rate it as just for beginners, but perhaps a beginner would enjoy it.

the reason SS has better flavor than ceramic (at least for me) is because ceramic is more heat resistant and uses less conduction to heat the herb making it a more flavorful hit since the sides arent roasted.

You may say it has enough ceramic, but thats something that cant' really be done on a vape imo since it is one of the best substances you can use for health reasons.

I still get pretty good flavor tho. Especially if I put whole bud in it instead of grinding it up.

What temp are you vaping at? I have mine set at 348F, and the taste is awesome.

My WPA arrived on the weekend and so far im loving it (still using Fury1). I'm fairly new to WPAs and all the stuff so i wondered: Is it absolutely necessary to remove the WPA from the Fury before it shuts down/cools off? I was too scared so far to just try it out (maybe something would break....) and these concerns are kinda annoying when handling WPA + Perculator etc.... I know the WPA would get stuck when the chamber cools down, but if you could just heat it up again to remove the WPA without dire consequences later after use, I would feel much more secure to use it right now :D:D

Mine's charging. I see some water sessions in my near future!

@Bonkers420 - I think as long as you heat it up before inserting/removing, it won't matter how long you leave it in there. It might get fully stuck once cooled down, but heating it up again should loosen up the oils and get it out.

I just inserted the stem into my Fury1 while the 2 is charging, and it did require a heat up to get in there. This feels like a pretty sweet all glass wpa...nice design!

I'm in on the Fury 2! Pretty excited, but also a bit nervous. My only real concern is that the vapour is going to be too hot because of a short vapour path.

From my experience, the cooling unit on the Crafty helps me with the close oven on that one, but my friend's Goboof Alpha and Boundless CFC are both too hot for me. I don't find the short mouthpiece on an Arizer Air too bad though.

Can anyone compare the vapour temperature on the Fury 2 to any of the above, or just comment generally about their experiences with that?
