I just found this randomly too, and came here to see if anyone else had seen it yet... sounds interesting. Guess my VAS isn't going away for a while. I'll be watching for more info about it.

The first problem I see with what the design in the video shows, is this looks a lot like the way the AtmosRaw heat core is designed with a heat coil that makes direct contact w/ herb=combustion. I am hopeful that the video did not show all parts in place, and I am just making assumptions about the material being in full contact with the coil.

I didnt see the coil your talking about, but if there is one i think it might be under the ceramic and used to heat the ceramic. If i am correct, the heating could go two different ways

    1) like the arizer solo(original), providing pretty decent vapor production

    Or

    2) like the ssv, when you cough into it and herb touches the ceramic heater it combusts.

Who knows though, plus this thing may never come out anyways so just speculation

This is taken from the video linked above, it shows the chamber with the heat coil at the bottom. Now I don't know if this is the way it will be as a complete unit, because there is no way to know that yet, I am guessing at this point, but it caught my attention.

Hmmm, i see what your talking about, and i remember seeing that video awhile ago and it turning me off, but when i watched both videos linked above, especially the video in the first post, it shows the same view except it is all ceramic where the coil is in your post...maybe they made a new video? Still no real unit to look at but just saying

My guess is there is a ceramic round piece that goes above those wires and that is what the herb comes in touch with...

Looks cool. It's kind of reminiscent of an Iolite and Wispr's heating element, in that the herb sits in a heated crucible with pin(s) through the middle of it. In this case those pins rotate and help stir up the bowls contents as well. The resistance wire below seems to heat the ceramic crucible upon which the herb lies, which makes this design look like a largely conduction-centric ones.

so it's conduction and according to the second video they are the only ones on the market with a stir tool...guess they haven't seen the blunts yet.

I wish them luck but I remain skeptical, there are already great vapes that don't need stirring.

I worry it's a nifty solution to a problem that doesn't really exist...

I think the ceramic/glass is nice and a first in the portable game - unfortunately the mouthpiece appears to be plastic/teflon?

I emailed the Whois poc for WizVape and he confirmed that it will be available sometime this spring. I have a WISPR and it is great for all but one thing: It ain't no One Hitter, so if i want just a few rips in the morning I gotta wait for it to get up to temperature. I got the Optimizer Insert for the WISPR and that gets it hot much faster, but I would also like to have something that gets hot fast, and cools down just as quickly.

this kinda looks like the pinnacle and inhalator had a love child, like a fraken-vape, it doesnt really have anything i haven't seen before, with all these new portables comin out. but im still pretty interested to see a "how it works" video and some reviews

Hi Medicine Man, are you referring to the WizVape as the Franken-Vape? Is so, I cannot find anything beyond the promotional video. I too am quite curious but will sit with my WISPR and wait to see.
