FC members, it's time to put on your poetry hats and let the creative juices flow! Let's get the Haiku contest underway and see what happens.

In case you are unaware of what a Haiku is, it is a Japanese poetry style consisting of three phrases of 5, 7 and 5 syllables, respectively.

Here's an example:

DaVinci Ascent is Born
Pure Vapor, Pure Joy

Contest: Create the most original, coolest, Haiku about the Ascent. Designs, features, the name, the feeling of anticipation as launch date draws near, the state of mind when using it..anything is fair game! Entries are limitless.

The Rules: Stick to the rules of Haiku, or else it just becomes a poem....what fun is that? Submissions must be in by 12 PM PST, 5.3. Winner will be announced 5.6. Anyone who previously posted in the Haiku thread needs to move their submission into the contest forum area.

The Prize: Ascent by DaVinci (model of choice)

Alright, you guys came up with this contest...so onward and upward, let the games begin.

I've written so many Haikus for High School because assignments would call for "some type of poetry" and the haiku was always the shortest, easiest, and most fun to do!
