I was disappointed by the Daenerys love scene. Expected it to be "more". Can't quite explain "more what" though.

Sure. If you read this thread, you'll see that I have always thought the writing for GoT is really bad. The series is based on books by a terrible writer and now that they've run out of his material, they're trying to outdo him in the are-you-fucking-kidding-me department.

I ignore the horrible writing because I still enjoy the spectacular film-making and the terrific performances by people making the best out of the shit the writers serve up.
