Enjoy that bro. Your due reward for being proactive, setting your sights and resisting the lure of immediate gratification at all stages of the process to arrive with your own cured herb and rosin.

Well I can't compete with that, rosin just wasn't to be for me. I just sold on my 6T bottlejack Dabpress to a close friend after a year in storage.

    He was :), I was :).

But what I CAN offer, and which by chance does actually happen to be in my vape right now aka my trusty vapcap: here is a nice shot of our larger (of the 2) Fantasmo Express Autoflowers.

This particular plant only yielded 60 grams but well this weed is really special. I literally only need one vapcap bowl to be stoned, not 2 or 3 minimum.

On Sunday evening, I had one small bowl in the Woodscents and I practically had a whitey I had to lay down for quite some time and was feeling quite peculiar lol!

So here she is/was in full setting evening glory a few months back now:

All well cured now, shoot how long has it been? Well foggy on that but two months maybe. STINKS!

I received an ounce of Sour Tangie flower and put it in the vape first thing this Friday after a break :). The eye appeal of the batch was excellent, frosty to the naked eye  (which is always a good thing). Western Canada sourced.

First time ever with this strain, a strong sativa :):clap:. The first session was awesome and potent :science::science:. Very big nugs and big pictures! Highly recommended for strong sativa lovers when you have a quality source/grower.

And some newly cured Forbidden Fruit (also homegrown). The aroma is sooooooooooooo good! It reminds me of burying my head in a box of Fruity Pebbles.

@LesPlenty okay you twisted my arm bro, you know I can't resist the opportunity for some commemoration, and what better a time, and what better a way to salut the lady specimens and give thanks for their deliverance, than right now as potency really starts to pick up during the cure.

I always forget about it the potency increase as the product continues to cure. I usually remember about this time every year like I did just yesterday I think when I suddenly think my God just I've got stronger.

So tonight into my vape (Woodscents) went some of our lovely Mephisto Genetics Northern Cheese Haze Autoflower:

Yes it was no real effort at all. All our plants are pretty leafy, but those leaves are just as good to vape as the flowers, cities if Trichomes all over. So we barely even trimmed it. Only 52 grams on her but so strong it doesn't take a lot.

    Very nice plants and stuff!
I can't compete and my plant is still standing outside, not yet ripe. Today it rained the whole day... So I put an undried flower to test, in the vaporiser.
There is already a little effect. :)

I don't envy you one bit. Probably hands down the biggest part of the whole process.

We had really small plants this year. 5 smallish Autos- Mephisto genetics the breeder I went with are known for quality rather than quantity which I was ok with seeing as we already had plenty of leftovers from the last 2 years.

But also it never got very hot in the UK the first few weeks they were outside, after 3 weeks in-house. As a result of moderate temps, weeks 4-6 they never exploded into beanstalks.

Which kind of works in a favour because I'm allergic to all fertilizers and the smaller our plants stay, the better they are towards the end on the limited nutrition available in our basic organic soil mixture which I can just about tolerate with my allergies.

So it worked in our favour this time. They were so easy to care for, move around every day for maxiumum sun, cover for rain. So neat and easy to move and cater for.

So a modest 250 from five auto flowers which we barely trimmed because it's also pretty leafy but the energy of the plant has gone into those League and those trichomes so it's just as good I am finding as the bud itself.

So we only had those 5 small Autos to trim, spread over a few weeks and my mum still had to do the majority of it in the end I just couldn't do any more when we got to last few plants, due to fatigue and health conditions.

Last year I pitched in a lot more. We had 875 grams from 8 Autos, diff breeder, strains and also baking heat wave all June/July.

@Sick Vape thanks man yes you really was a beauty that one of our wasn't she we couldn't have asked for a more perfect lady from start to finish. If it makes you feel better I took a look at what everybody else was doing all summer on Instagram especially and my mum and I both agreed that we didn't see anyone growing plants that looked healthier than our own.

So don't feel too bad because the plant can appear to be much worse looking but you still will have banging product and that's all that counts. I hope you get enough luck with the weather to bring yours along just in time now we were really lucky this year to get pretty full development before we had to chop. Better to take them premature than overripe though any day.

    Good luck mate.

Thanks for your kind words. Yes with this late flowering strain it is a gamble every year, as we often have first snows already in late september. But thanks to global warming (lol) I could let her go till november the last 2 years. Just small airy buds, nothing what she would do with warmer weather, but quite mold resistant for that. I would prefer to let her ripen more. But as you say, outdoors they can get overripe (always depending on strain too of course) for my taste/needs.
Do overripe plants affect your fatigue in a bad way?

Your plant(s) looks perfect. I love how her fan leaves are yellow at harvest. I am a lover of low nutrients at harvest, too. And she has nice trichome development, last but not least :).
One can see she was loved and well cared for!
It sounds also like a strain I would enjoy.
I did not look into autos really as seeds were made illegal some years ago over here. And it seems autos have evolved alot over the past years.
But it would be fantastic to harvest something in mid to end summer already next year.

I wish you much energy and good spirits as the days get shorter.

edit: @LesPlenty that looks very tasty. I love to harverst some earlier and some later, if possible.

@Sick Vape hello mate and thank you so much for your ongoing warmth and support do you have a true heart for sure my friend and I really appreciate it.

And yes, precisely that. Over, or rather, longest flowered buds do you have a negative effect on my fatigue condition and generally just don't suit me and are a bit too debilitating energy and muscle wise.

It is specifically the cbn which I don't like and doesn't really agree with me but I have made a mistake too many times of harvesting too late because the trouble with outdoor growing in the UK is those trichomes don't come on as fast as the rest of the plant when you have to keep them indoors or covered for many days on end and the plant starts to deteriorate in general and reaches it's optimum harvest time I'm regarding all other indicators and factors, while the trichomes still need a bit longer to develop more.

And what can make it tricky as well is actually inspecting the plants properly when you have prolonged damp and dull spells of weather, like if they arent quite ready for example but you cant guess how long it will be, so you just need to keep checking every day because they can suddenly turn quite quickly (trichomes) but we have had spells of rain and damp in late harvest meaning plants in the kitchen for nearly a week without any decent light actually have a look at those trichomes.

And with a feeling that you don't want to harvest them until they had a little bit of decent whether to finish off. So that's an example of how I have messed up before and let them go over with way too many Amber trichomes and generally yellow plants at harvest which is heartbreaking to go past that freshness.

This year we get it perfect in fact everything could have flowered for longer because there's barely any Amber at all but the potency is way above what we had before and it's a much more uplifting psychoactive energizing high which I prefer but can exacerbate anxiety more.

Man I really hope that your plant comes along enough for your satisfaction the longer you can keep it going the better literally by the day you just have to do your best and you will hopefully be happy in the end.

Def look at the Autos, they have come a really long way. You wouldnt believe the amount of serious growers who are choosing auto flowers over photoperiods these days, indoors, out.

Mephisto genetics in particular are renowned for producing incredibly Potent Autos with THC levels well above 20%.

I think everyone who is growing outdoors in any part of the world it would be a good idea for them to do at least some Autos alongside the regulars and harvest early in good weather but not just that the auto flowers are flowering in the peak of summer and this can actually compensate against the more Potent photoperiods strains, when growing outdoors.

So you can get a guranteed, trouble free harvest of however many Autos you elect to do , months early. Fully curing now after 8 weeks.

@LesPlenty good (Morning?) Mate haha! 11.30 pm here. Your bulk looks really lovely man, I already knew you made GOOD stuff and you sure never brag, though you have every entitlement to.

In times gone past I would have been licking my lips at that lovely orangery fur but thankfully we have everything we need here and I'm really not in want like I used to be, salivating over others lovely looking herb in green-eyed envy.

So now the grass is equally Green on the other side of the fence lol and I'm just purely pleased for others to see such nice product being produced and consumed.

I definitely prefer it harvested on the early side when the aroma is lovely and fresh and the plants are still green. Last year the majority of our crop was over flowered which was heartbreaking because we had some truly stunning stuff and I ruined it for myself but the odd bits and jars which did come in early, are a league above. Get me really high and merry, the high CBN ambered buds-

Yes they are fantastic for sleeping and sinking into the couch, as soon as I get into bed it's like the best weed in the world but when I go to get out of bed the effect is to muscular debilitating and lethargic for me personally.

I might only have the one mother plant but I have access to quite a lot of variety due to processing and growing changes.
Now thanks to vaping I get to cure properly and have early green harvest for during the day and I load my Plenty up the last thing before bed with the late harvest orange gear with many dabs in between.

I can relate to a lot of what you said about overripe plants, have experienced similar and agree on alot of points. It probably is the same reason I do not like most import hash anymore. I am not sure it is the CBN only though. I heard that there is virtually no CBN to find on a living plant, no matter how ripe. But I made the same experience as you with overripe outdoor flowers. An analysis would be interesting.

I also had the luck, quite a long time ago though ,to get indoor flowers from people, who let ripen their plants longer than others did. I did not get any couch-lock or bad effects the next morning from that weed. But they were all perfectly grown. Just longer. So maybe there was not more CBN or there is something else that interferes too. Or the strains did it.

    It is splitting hairs finally.
You know how to make the flowers that are good for you. That is what counts in the end.

For amber trichomes on plants and our assumption that it corresponds to higher CBN levels(or whatever gives you your hard time in the morning etc.). On unhealthy plants or ill patches of the leaves or where they are bruised they amber much quicker in my observation. So sometimes amber trichomes can come from the treatment of the plant and not really from the ripeness I guess.
And I also observed that they amber during drying a bit. So it is advisable to take them a little early from that viewpoint too.

But I am very happy you mentioned it, because I see what I feel is not just my imagination!

@LesPlenty Isn't it great how much different effects you can get out of one plant. Especially also with vaporisers and dab equipments and different temperatures to get the effects one wants at that particular moment :). And yes very nice buds. Those red hairs make my mouth water.
