I remember when I used to know how many vaporizers I had.

Now I'm like.....

Nutcracker!

I've also forgotten how many vaporizers I have owned over the years.

Now, I use both desktop and portable vaporizers. :)

Omicron and Persei are NOT lower end oil Vapes. The TV is pricey but I have seen several members ditch them in the classifieds for Persei. Just sayin'.:2c:

I only have a plug in right now, and not a very good one. I'm getting a HI soon for the studio but really want a portable. Probably not gonna get one until a great one comes out. Still want to try the Firefly but it seems a little large.

... but really want a portable. Probably not gonna get one until a great one comes out.

There are some very Good portable Vaporizers available that are truly GREAT compared to having no portable and having to resort to a pipe/papers and flame when out and about.

@invertedisdead what improvements or innovations are you waiting on to meet your standards to be considered 'Great' ?

Concentrate pens still seem to be the best portable solution. Instant or very fast heat up, very slim discrete profile, long battery.

Really waiting for the Grasshopper. Considered a Pax but I want convection. Heard the Indica is good but its also conduction. Like I said would like to try the firefly. I guess it doesn't matter since I have a HI coming, but what I have been looking for is a portable that is also great plugged in at home through a water tool, so I can have a small discrete setup at home that I can just unhook and grab on my way out the door.

The Grasshopper is still an unknown but at least in production neat idea's and lot of promises but nobody knows if it will even work yet. Still the grasshopper won't be the be-all-end-all when we have it in our hands... If you did really desire to go portable you could.

imho even a Ubie is a Great vape compared to No vape. Guess We are all wired differently.

The HI should serve you well, waitin' on that e mail my self.

For balloons I don't see the problem with this statement, it seems that the volcano has been ~equaled few times but not surpassed. Does any other bag-blower inflate a full balloon in 30 seconds?

Okay but since there's no other way to use a volcano...
It just seems that it gets an inordinate amount of hate around here,
with the glaring exception of within its own thread.

My beef is one someone makes a general statement to say........."nothing beats it", or "it's the best vaporizer there is". Statements like that need some qualification to either state that in their opinion, it's the best "bag" vape there is, or, at the very least, that it's the best vape for them, but what tends to happen with both the 'Cano and the Pax is that, for some odd reason, users will state that it is "the best", which is obviously inaccurate.

What I find kind of odd though is that this happens with those two vapes more than any other vape on the market, or so it seems.

Post-purchase rationalization is a big factor, but so is defense against the attacks that come from those that want to write these devices off because of their price. I had a pax, and while it was frustrating to both use and maintain, it remains unsurpassed for stealth vaping of flowers imho. Likewise the volcano is very expensive for a one-trick pony no matter how good at that trick it is, so it gets attacked mercilessly as well. There are certainly some challengers to both of these vapes, but they haven't been surpassed quite yet!
