What happened to the Mackenzie family in Iowa?

Salutations everybody,

For this one i'd require assistance from other members, because i simply don't feel confident enough to sort it all out and relate the story properly, while i sense it might be worth more public attention including here.

No further information seems to have emerged past September about a self-treating 48 yr old terminal cancer patient who got busted and then denied a defense that would refer to his illness (...), additionally at least one article from the Quad-City Times (Davenport/IA) appears to be censored while surprizing events remain unexplained. For example his attorney Lori Kieffer Garrison got her license suspended so suddenly this caused him to be appointed David Treimer in replacement while he couldn't trust this other attorney because of a previous event... Then a trial was going to take place in the Scott County district with Henry Latham as judge, only to fall outside public scope.

The lack of traditional media echo puzzles me so here's what i got below...




Any ideas what it all means and what's the outcome? I find this confusing at best!
