    Hey Guys,

Been lurking around for the past month and a bit and have finally joined up.
This site is amazing! The information on here, the reviews and opinions of individual vapes and experiences.
Needless to say you guys have ensured I will be spending more money than I originally intended

Main reason I have joined because I have become "stuck" between what I am lead to believe the best of the best in water filtered vaporizing. The guys over at the LSV thread pretty much sold me and I have been on their site multiple times with a custom colored LSV with some cool custom glass :o But every time something is holding me back from finalizing that purchase... and yeah... it is the VapeXhale cause that thing is a beast, both to look and from what I can tell to use.

I can but I cant justify the 700$ it will cost to get an EVO shipped to Australia with a HT so torn between the 2 it has delayed my vaporizing journey already haha. After reading around a couple of hundred pages of the cloud forums I know how great this thing is and how great it performs. But I think the 700$ is too steep for me right now. I could definitely get the EVO but if anything happened I don't know if I could get it repaired to fast and I don't even want to know what it would cost me in shipping to get it repaired :o

I have come across a pretty cheap Cloud available in my country for 539.00$.... I think this is pretty awesome?! What do you guys think?

So the thing is it is a Cloud which I don't think there is any problem with I'd be willing to bet majority of people at the moment are still cloud owners. The cloud comes with one of the old evolver HT you get a choice of 3 hydracirc hyrdatree and VXL hydracirc.

Would it be sfe to assum these are the old ticker models? Are these models not worth the cash compared to an EVO or later cloud?

The thing for me is... I am still a heavy smoker atm :p I am wanting to get a vaporizer that I will be able to have the best chance at converting... (the money investment doesn't worry me the long term investment does) I only smoke through water pipes and have for a long time. I am looking for something that can get me as close to this feeling so during the change after vaping it may not be "as" hard.

Conservation is kind of important I do find with smoking at the moment whilst smoking I don't conserve I can just keep smoking, I would like to chose the vaporizer that makes me "satisfied" and puts down my device naturally cause I feel my fix has been met. Something I feel I wouldnt get with a bag/whip mode vape.

What do you think guys is the VXH for me right now or am I best going with an LSV until a later date? Any owners of both or experienced user with some helpful advice.

Theres so much of it on here that I ended up lost:rofl:I apologies for my repetition in questions most of you guys are probably sick of seeing please forgive me and also if I offended your eyes with a wall of text....

I'm glad I joined no need to be a creepy ninja anymore :ninja:

Just to throw something else into the mix. Check out the Herborizer if you missed it. I couldn't live without mine anymore. I feel like you can't improve on the simplicity and how well it works. You can get just the bowl and injector and use it with any water piece with a 14 or 18mm joint. People who think they don't like vaporizing try mine say they could switch if they had one because it feels more like smoking.

Here is the thread for it - http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/herborizer-corner.83/

Awesome! I did miss this. I love how simple it looks and kinda reminds me with the ermm vrip with the heater wand sort of thing. I love my glass too and not only does this look solid but it looks sexy :brow: Was just checking out the site and see you can just get the attatchment for your own glass and what not. Gonna have a look at some more vid reviews and check out the thread for it. Thanks a lot for bring that to my attention :)

What sort of set up do you have just the basic or did you get a sexy set up with one of those tubes or bubbblers?

haha another one I haven't seen seems like I have been obsessing over the 2 I posted about too much . Ill be sure to check out some reviews on this too. Thanks a lot dude!

I posted this over in the herbo thread. It is a syn 14" tube reverse showerhead. I love how it hits, so smooth and tasty. My friend has been using his bubbler rig with his and I was surprised how well it hit for a small piece. Definitely get the XL; you can adjust from no vapor at all, to choking clouds. And even on high there is no chance of combustion. It will put you in your seat on 10.

    oh.. my

But seriously that has become a serious contender as well, totally my style
Also looks really easy for mates to use without having to worry as much as a cloud, don't know if I could leave that unoccupied

Thanks for making a little bit more difficult  But it is much appreciated. Going to have to go drool over some more vaping videos for a few hours before I can make any more decisions.

Another model to consider is the verdampfer, it is very similar to the herborizer and there is one in the classifieds right now, comes with glass to. I have not used either of these but thought I would mention the verdampfer because it is so similar and you can save a little buying from another member.

I have owned both the VXC and LSV. between the 2I personally prefer the VXC for the quicker extraction, less stirring and slightly better taste. That being said,I got a great deal on mine and if I had to pay $539 for it, there is no way I would have it. It is a great unit and worth it but the failure rate is just too high for me to stomach the price tag. Also, last I knew VXH couldn't repair any clouds due to a lawsuit they filed against a manufacturer that deliberately built faulty units. Although I prefer the VXC the LSV is great also. ituses the same heat element as the SSV which had a great track record and very few failures.

I would say due to initial cost and shipping costs if you need warranty support, avoid the EVO and due to lack of support avoid the cloud.

I am shopping for a vaporizer of this type, and I am considering the herborizer. I very rarely use flowers, though, so I want something I can use for concentrates and herb. I see that the herborizer website has a nail setup as an accessory, and I was wondering if any owners have tried this or a similar setup ( looks like a typical 18 mm adjustable nail w/ dome)? Does this vaporizer work well with oils?

Aussie LSV user here, I love mine and you can get it in less than a week locally for about $250au. Works well with glass and can be used in a variety of configurations .

Thanks for your input. I was kind of thinking along the same lines, but still really wanted a vxh haha and needed convincing. For me right now your spot on it wouldn't be worth it to get me vxh to aus at the moment maybe somewhere down the track and I dont think I will be going through with that deal.

That is really messed up about the manufacturer of clouds :\ some people..

I think I will be back on the LSV bandwagon  Theres just so many nice glass options out there too I see you have an SSV too, Before I got on to the LSV I was looking at that a bit but figured I could get the same heater for cheaper and be able to use with my glass too. How do they compare for you guys? Would you choose your LSV over your SSV if you had to do it again? Do they give the exact same vapor quality or are still somewhat different due to their interiors/exteriors

While at this point I wouldnt buy a VXL Cloud due to failure rate and manufacturer issues, the EVO does not have these problems.
To be fair, VXL got fucked by the manufacturer, and instead of shutting down, they moved manufacturing in house for the EVO.
Be patient and see how the they handle repairs of the original Clouds, while it is correct at this point they cant repair any, they did promise to make things right when the company is back to full operation again.

If you go a couple pages back in the LSV thread, you will see @Fredrick McGuire (i hope i did this right) answers my question about SSV vs LSV and says the vaporization itself is the same. So you just need to consider whether you want a vaporizer with a whip or not. IMO just get the LSV and get a shitload of accessories for hitting it through a glass stem, a bong, or a whip. This way you have option of going all glass vaporpath to preserve flavor.

Edit: just noticed the tag didnt work, but i tried.

Haha thanks and that is all good I will go through the LSV thread again and find that post, was on my way over there anyway. Much appreciated :)

That was exactly my original thought process - get the LSV for my main obsession (glass) and get some accessories like whip setup etc. + I much prefer the idea of the glass transfer wands, just a preference over whip but always nice to have the option to whip up with a few mates around. I also liked the stands people had made for the LSV over in the LSV thread with mic stands, wooden stand etc. That style for whip mode is a bonus.

Thanks a lot. Yours and other people advice given in this thread about the VXH have made it pretty clear to me while it is probably worth every cent, I feel it just isn't worth it for me right now given warranty, shipping, repairs, cost and worst of all my location. I'll be keeping my eye on this and the company until I am ready to jump on the VXH bandwagon. I'm sure with there great success they will continue to grow and expand and it will be much easier and worth it to get my hands on one in future..

Now.. The waiting game begins.. :D

Looks like your question has been answered but after owning both I would get a LSV and skip the SSV. The LSV can do anything the SSV can, the SSv can't do everything a LSV can do. Then again everyone needs two vapes, one for everyday use and a backup! :)

Not really. The LSV needs glass. The SSV doesn't, but can use it if you want, so it's really the more versatile model. The LSV is a better choice if water filtration is a must, but that doesn't make your statement accurate.

The biggest difference, hit wise, between the EVO and LSV, would be heat retention. Your draw speed, if heavy, will affect the LSV's vaping temp. Just find a draw that you're comfortable with, and use it on a consistent basis (or recognize the change if you don't), and the LSV should be a great performer and save you lots of $.

I use my LSV all the time without glass? It is the same heating element/cover as the SSV, so if you put a whip on it you should have the exact same experience as the SSV.

while the herborizer is a great vape, i'm not convinced it's the best option for making the transition from smoking to vaporizing - it hits too light imo.

the cloud is so much better for this! with the cloud you can take a huge bong rip and feel the effects instantly, before exhaling - no other vape i have tried could deliver this (haven't tried the LSV yet, but from what i can gather the LSV hits more like the VHW than the cloud)

i'd recommend to bite the bullet and go for an evo, just to ensure to never smoke again, you know ;)

or maybe have a look at the lotus, it's my daily driver (despite having a cloud, herborizer, vhw, volcano, etc around) and is one of the cheapest options out there :)

^^ One thing to keep in mind. The LSV is farrrrr from a light hitting vape. Very far......

 I think that is exactly what I will do with the extra money I save, buy me an backup. I couldn't imagine having to many vaporizers..
I see that there is a bit of a learning curve present with the LSV at least compared to the EVO. Looks like the EVO really takes all the worrying of how to use the vape. Instead just sit back and suck.. done. Quality vapor. Sounds great though, I want, But the LSV sounds just as great and 2nd best to the EVO maybe. Plus as I said previously with that cash I save I'm most probably going to invest in a cheaper back up. Thanks for your help!

Nooooooo Staaaaahhp, You sound like that voice that is in my head 24/7 telling me to buy it
I also fear for my mental health he wont leave until I buy one :uhoh:

I have had a look around a bit at the lotus and that is pretty sweet! I think I might get one! I was going to buy another VG for when I am camping or just out and about in general but this looks even better for camping and the water pipes are out.. it's awesome can even serve as my back up and it's not to pricey! And if it ended up being your daily driver, despite having a pretty sweet set up... Love it thanks dude.

That is exactly what I am looking for coming from being a heavy smoker, would prefer something heavy hitting.
