It is the "Slow Blues" loop on my Imac Garage Band.
I get to add/subtract instruments...
and select between a number of instruments for each slot.
Slots are:
  • Keyboard
  • Bass
  • Drums
  • Guitar
  • Backup Keyboard
  • Melody
I also adjust the tempo.
Glad you like it.........
I just redid that same basic music track a minute ago but with different instruments, (and I used a single slide guitar for melody instead of an entire horn section) and added it to this brief single bag Volcano mini-Session... done just for you on webcam.
Love it! The Volcano Bag Blues by The Vitolo Blues Band...starring, Vitolo!

I think this will be particularly helpful with sessions where I am going after denser/higher temp bags and in particular when I make up an herb/concentrate sandwich in the reduced chamber dosing capsules which tends to be very harsh for me.

Yeah I tend to run 1-2 bags at lower temps without bubbler.... then I bump up the temp considerably and run it through the bubbler to finish off the bowl at higher temps.

I think that's where the water setup shines; High temp.

Don't be deceived by how smooth it is through water, at lower temps it's like breathing air... but as you said you will still feel the effects.
Any time I have a sore throat... or need a break from harsher vapor I will always use the Cano with water... it's the smoothest thing I've ever tried.

I am thinking about adding a Volcano to my collection for group sessions as it is definitely easier to pass a bag around then my LSV and can use my LSV for all my vapor bonging needs...

I probably won't be ordering one for at least a few months as I am saving up money that I make through online surveys so when I purchase my Volcano, it won't be any of my actual money that is in my budget so it will be a nice guilt free purchase.

I have a good experience with vapes, started with a VaporBros, have use Da Buddah, Volcano and have a Pax and MFLB for portablity, but I only have used the Volcano twice or so and wanted to hear from those who have had theirs for a few years, how has it been holding up and do you think it was worth the purchase? I would be getting the Classic over the Digital as it seems like a big price jump just for a digital readout, just wanting to know if this is what I should invest in or if I should look more into the Evo or something else.

Thanks everyone. Also, if anyone knows of any discount codes for the Volcano website that would be appreciated.

The Volcano is pretty much always exempt from coupons and such. The price is pretty much fixed. That being said, there was a recent on line vape store that did a 50% off closeout. Of course those units got grabbed rather quickly ( I was lucky enough to get mine there ) so probably your best bet is to check for a used one or hope to luck into another closeout sale.

Ive been using my Volcano for around 4 months or so, so I cant speak to longevity but I will say it is the best, most efficient vape I have ever used.

Rock solid unit, completely consistent performance, a winner in all regards for a desktop unit.

I have the Digit but agree with you that the Analog is just fine and even has the advantage (well, it is to some who like to leave their's 'on' all day) of not shutting down on a 1/2 hour time out.

I have the easy valve and agonized over that a bit...no more. While I can use a solid valve, I have enough dexterity to do so, I get good use from an EV bag and they aren't that expensive to me (and there are vids out there to show how to put a new bag on an EV).

Best of luck

Volcano is a nice Option for Groupsessions without worrying about your Gear.
If you have got the Chance to lend one or try one out, i would say do it a longer Time, as the Volcano is a quite unique Vape with the Bag system and some people love it, some don t - it s just not for everybody.

Also, read up on the new Capsules and reducer for the Herb chamber - stock Volcano can be a real Weed Hog.

...volcano is a solid unit, and storz and bickel is a quality company both in terms of longevity and commitment...not a portable unit but a consistent, dependable workhorse ...much like madison bumgarner..you just give it the ball and watch it perform...

Wow, don't mean to be argumentative but I really haven't found that the Volcano is a weed hog. With the regular chamber, I can put .2 to .25 in it and it vapes beautifully and efficiently without having to fill the chamber. I also have the reduced chamber (RC)/dosing capsule (DC) which takes to .15 to fill completely but I have found that the DC works better rather full while the regular chamber works just fine with a fraction of its full load very well.

To me, key is well ground and well dried herb.

Thanks for all the replys everyone, once I save up enough I will likely end up grabbing one. And to make sure I get the manufacturers warranty I am probably just going to purchase it straight off their website even if it is a few bucks more expensive than elsewhere.

Hi everyone, I'm new to the volcano with solid valve.

I tried some finely powdered passionflower in the SV, and all that happens is the fine powder blows upward and entered the actual bag itself. What am I doing wrong?

I tried a few ways.

First I had pushed the little flat disc that rides the little stick down all the way onto the material.

Then, the manual shows to leave a 1mm gap, so I also tried that.

Finally, I made a sandwich, by putting a layer of coarsely ground peppermint as the base layer, then the finely ground passionflower, finally, another layer of coarsely ground peppermint. And then I pushed the little flat disc on a stick all the way down to press securely. But still, the finely ground passionflower ends up in the bag.

Could it be this passionflower is just too finely ground, or is there a different technique I should try?

Also, I seem to recall that after the bag is filled, that the little flat disc that was pressed to either directly atop the herbs or within 1 mm of it, is now blown up towards the top of the stick by the air pressure. I think. I have to retest this, but pretty sure it was. If so, is that normal?

A second, unrelated question. I read this quote above about the minimum capacity. I'm sure this has been discussed many times so please forgive me, but do people generally agree with these numbers? Is it at all possible to vape just 0.025g to 0.05g of material in a volcano (similar to an old AromaZap) either with the SV, EV, or dosing capsule?

Thanks for the help

I concur. The only thought that comes to mind is the chamber is pretty large for a single person, but as you said, a full pack is not required.

I've experimented with the new pods kit. Its cool and does work better with micro loads than the standard, but I'm not sure I want to fuss with those little pods so much. I wish the adapter worked better without the pods and didn't require adding pads and screens to keep the material from blowing up into the top area.

Who said anyting about 25/1000's of a gram? I said .25 as in a quarter of a gram.

Sorry on your other question, I don't know anything about vaping peppermint or passionflower. However, S&B do make fine screens for both easy and solid valve. The fine screens replace the regular screens and are advertised as being for vaping 'powder'. This may be what you need:

HI Green - to me, I'm fine with putting a 1/4 of a g in, pulling a bag, then leaving the chamber on the shelf for the next session later. The ability to put the Volcano chamber away at any point in extraction and be able to pick right back up again where you left off is one of the Volcano's most endearing characteristic to me.

Yeah, the reduced chamber without the dosing capsule just doesn't really do it for me. I'm with you on that. I can pack .15 g into a dosing capsule and its full to the top and works ok, but I don't see a real advantage to this approach over just dumping .2 in a regular chamber. Now, for pre-loading and in particular for pre-loading by a care giver for someone with infirmities.

Hi there
Got myself a used Classic Volcano (2 years old) last week, and I love it.
However - when filling bags (easy valve) there is vapor leaking from the fillingchamber. Its not that much, but I want to know if its normal.

Best regards
David

Oh, hellzyeah Baraon. I've gone the better part of a week on a fully loaded volcano chamber. :)

Get the wear and tear kit....it has the o-ring, pads, screens and even a new brush.

http://www.storz-bickel.com/shop_us/en/shop/easy-valve/easy-valve-wear-tear-set.html

Just got one this week and it feels like a brands new Volcano.

PSA: They don't add the air filters to that kit which is a bit of a bummer....they get funky after a couple of years.

ETA: It has the easy valve clips as well...replacing those (while a PITA) is likely the biggest difference you'll feel after swapping out all those parts.

The volcano is definitely low-maintenance. It can run for years with no user intervention outside of dumping and reloading. That being said, I find that I get a nice boost in performance after a good ISO-soaking of the screens.

Ok well I need to do something about the leaking.... Im considdering if I should make the shift to solid valve, but only want to do it if there's alot of $$$ to save. I think the easy valve kit with 6 bags for 50 euro it quite expensive - but have no idea how often im going to need replacement pack. Those of you who vapes multiple filling chambers every day - how long does a easy valve bag last?
