Primal-friendly pizza... in the crust, instead of the 3 TBLS of olive oil it called for, I used 3 TBLS of my own ABV coconut oil (cannanut?). The crust is a tapioca flour crust, with fresh garlic and basil thrown in for good measure. :)

Sun dried tomatoes, salami and canadian bacon, mushrooms, olives, and mozz. Simple, basic, sublime... and medicated! woo hoo!!

Edit: Update... I used the cannanut oil, which ended up being 1.5 Tbls per person, and WOW.. we are both baked! It's a lovely, heavy, body med, with the cotton batting around the head effect, as well. Made the oil with our own ABV, so all to the good! :)

My uncle used to grow figs. Because of the cold weather here in Canada, he would have to bury the tree each year below frost level. It is quite the sight watching a mature fig tree being pushed over and buried.

^A light beer drinker eh? I was a fan of Stone even before tasting the Arrogant Bastard. Best back of bottle ever.

I absolutely love Arrogant Bastard Ale. Stone Ruination is very, very good, too.

The first time I read the label, I just about fell down laughing. It is great.

EditFound me out! I had their Lavender Pale Ale with a BLT and decided to get a liter of the 5/17 after I asked for a taste. Stone is superb. Might go down to Lost Abbey this weekend... would have gone in their tour but I had to make it back too soon. Soon, though! Just need to empty the growler now... or maybe a new one :)

Edit: 9.4 is light? Guess I'm not what I used to be... :(

I was JK, that is a big-boy beer without a doubt. The drinkablity of their 9% stuff is what makes them deadly. Sure a barleywine is 12%, but you are not exactly able to tip them back easily.

I'm drinking a much wussier beer, I need a vacation from hops every once and awhile:

If beer is the topic, I enjoy some Hammer with the Hammer.

It's a nice way to get hammered.

my tip of the day: if you're making fudge(in my case to make a banoffee pie) don't put your finger into the boiling sugarry mass to taste it...
