Vaporize Budder?

You might get some vapor out of it but not use it to its full potential.

I have vaped wand hash, pressed hash and kief in my Myrtlezap on more than one occasion. It works (and well) but there are other tools that can take it even further.

i have a vape that is very similar to log-style vapes in that it heats by conduction, and it uses similar doses.

i use my oils by grinding herb very finely, and putting a little oil on top of the pile, which i then roll with light pressure into a cylindrical shape. i fit this gently into the vape, and it works very well.

keep in mind that the oil is just the resin from trichomes, and will vape similarly, it just needs airflow.

as for temps, my vape works primarily by flame, so the herb may exceed 200*C, but i doubt that it is necessary.

honestly i'm gonna say that you should try a few techniques to see if you can't get it to work in the PD, i don't imagine it is impossible.

log vapes are convection vaporizers.

I vape frozen qwiso in my MyrtleZap by taking a little piece of a cotton ball and wrapping it around the oil. Works perfectly every time.

i was under the impression that the metal around the herb was the main heat transfer element, but i don't own one so i can't be certain.

i like the cotton ball and will go you one further, how about rock salt? (it was suggested to me online as a heat resistant screen material that's food grade)

if i were rich enough to have budder, (Yum), I'd get a globe and a ti nail tho

I make my own. Well, I make oil. I don't whip it into budder, like the oil better. But I have a dome and nail setup, but like my Ti wrapped curve better. Although, you don't really get any reclaim with a curve, not like you get off a nail. I am liking oil more and more every day. I see why people stop smoking herb and vape oil full time. I can not as its too intense to go to work on, and I love my Da Budda. So I vape in the morning and afternoon, and dab my oil at night. :ko:

seems to me that log vapes are convection, i can leave a stem in my zap for days and come back and hit it and get high. also, thres no vapor produced unless you're hitting it.

i've also had great success with wand hash in my mz. its cool, the hash just disappears.

the first doesn't necessarily indicate convection, but the second does.

that's an interesting piece of equipment.

So what's the consensus on this? does anyone regularily vape budda in their vapes? if so which ones?

Modnote: Merged.

Use a Ti pad, once I got one I have not turned back. That being said there are a good number of vaporizers designed for hash use these days.

ti pad is the best way imo, but other vapes that will do budder or oils: omnicron, thermovape revolution, persei, trippy stix, eclipse pipe and GonG adapter versions, gn0me oil dome, log units using vito`s cotton ball technique, SSV(on a bed of something is more ideal a bed of kif maybe :D )there are more but im super stoned and can`t think of any more right now ;)

of all those options I still say the Ti pad and or nail are the best ways to do it! then if i wanted it for on the go the revolution would be my go to weapon.

i agree with Weedemon, the TI nail or pad, or quartz or glass nails/paddles are the most effective for home use. for on the go, one of the portables such as the omicron or thermovape would be a good choice

U have got to one dumb person
LOL.

Sorry, don't make it myself... the mailman is nice enough to bring it by though :)

If you don't live in the US, UK, or Ireland... I can hook you up with the site I use to order through the mail.

Just let me know and I'll kick you an email through the forum.

Anybody else tried to vape the sweet budder?

Mod note: You have obviously not read the rules since this post is in violation of the be nice rule. Please take the time to do so before you post again.

don74y3,
i put wax, budder, honeycomb, sugar, full melt.... all of that on my ti nail, and it vaporizes.

dont buy the cheap stuff.

I've always had a hard time vaporizing budder or oils because it just seems like I'm wasting a lot of it. However, those skillets (although no vaporizing) are pretty awesome for oils and extracts.

doesn't it just turn to liquid and run, or does it vape instantly? I've tried it in my cloud, I think it vaped successfully lol

i just bump my v tower full blast. make a bed of cotton then put a couple hits of oil on it. then cover it with more cotton. hit and and boom! you get as big of hit as in the eclipse or a ti nail but waaaaaay smoother and consistent of a heat. use any vaporizer with cotton. im sure the cloud would work as well!
