I would like to take this opportunity to introduce a dear friend of mine... "VB2"
    What this is:
This is a "Wax Converter". It is a device that due to the heat of its element and it's structure, can CONVERT a concentrate to vapor instantaneously.
Vapor Brothers and VaporWarehouse will be along after a time to reveal the details of this amazing device, and to divulge the conditions of owning one, and of course the cost.
I do feel confident in saying that early adopters will have the guys in charge watching their backs in a way unseen in most businesses!
What you do not see me using here or in the video coming up, is a small cup-like disc or challice (proper name to be revealed at a later time), that was in development while I took the above picture.
It's function is to protect the ceramic plate/element from direct abuse from dab tools and other dangers.
The insert went through a great many changes before they settled upon this design, and material, and I was proud to be along for the ride in helping to figure the best.
    THE BEST
What you see is a moldable ceramic... which is a proprietary material. It is so dense that it weighs a good amount for it's size, and can withstand abuse. Denser that porcelain by far, this is the best material for the purpose.
A machinable ceramic was used for a while (Malcor), but with it's prohibitive cost, and time consuming manufacturing it was just not dense enough.
    Macor
The unit reaches temperatures hot enough to keep the insert clean.
(cleaner than the walls of my VB2 after some abuse!)

    VB2
The Marketing name of this device will be revealed a an upcoming time as well.... and there will be a thread devoted to this oil converting wonder as well... as per the rules of this Forum, the device must be on the market 1st (and it will be VERY shortly) Meanwhile a thread candidate will be opend in short order.
    In the meanwhile...
The device has developed a few loving nicknames. I explain this because I am about to show a video in which I refer to the device as "The Cheesebox".
As you look at the video, please bear in mind, that it was made some time ago, and there have been changes and improvements in some subtle features, and I have long since found my "claimed preferred Method" from the video to be WAY TOO INTENSE and have reverted to using a 2 or 3 foot whip like a gentleman. The method I call my preferred way in the video left my mouth too tacky, and frankly, I was way too fucked up! :o"did Uncle Vito just say that?"

I found two manners of dabbing on such a nice surface.
The drag method was my favorite, as it consumes the concentrates faster.. because you are continually touching new uncooled unused surface.
    smaller dabs I drop..larger I drag

You can see that in the above video I did not use the challice (disc/insert)because it was not yet created
Now I only use the Cheesebox ( it's gonna be tuff to stop calling it that ) with the insert in place.

I am a patient with severe complications. I speak highly of products that amaze me. I try my best to say nothing if I have only bad to say.
I helped with some development of this tool for a good while, and was NEVER asked by anyone to give it positive feedback.
I asked for permission, once my job was done to reveal to the concentrate fanatics and Dabbers out there....
that .. "Your time has arrived"
    Thank you for your time.

Cat is out of the bag. A much better introduction than I could have given the VB2. :dog:

I will save further comments for the candidate thread. :buzz:

Thank you Sham87 and Tweek for the kind words. We try our best.

Not the same folks but like minded folks. More like kissing cousins. VB is in the Los Angeles area and VW is in the extreme eastern part of the S.F. Bay Area. Linus of VB is one of the kindest people I have ever crossed paths with.

But enough of this love fest, now back to the Dabbler.

Looks to be the concentrate-only desktop vaporizer that VB and VW have been hinting at. I'm excited to see some action coming out of VB, they have a solid track record and I can't imagine the VB2 will be an exception.

I wonder how one would use this with glass? Dabbing without water filtration doesn't sound like my thing, hell vaping without water filtration isn't even my thing.

I really dislike the idea of dabbing through tubing. I am not too fond of tubing in general, and the one time I dabbed with a device using tubing was the 7th Floor dab kit for the SSV/DBV and it just tasted so shitty, it was so unpleasant.

Very intrigued to see how this stacks up in comparison.

If this can be used with glass and no tubing then I am very interested. Otherwise, meh.

All ceramic based systems will be held up to these standards.

Glad you guys are finding the info. Sorry we haven't been very active or posting much. Traveling, setting up, and working a trade show has been a major time consumer.

Now that this thread has been created expect myself and Linus from VB to release more info. The first bit of info is the price. The sale price is set at $699. We should have it available online in the next few weeks.

There is a ceramic dome top as well as two different glass tops. This will allow for different configurations.

There is a glass stem for direct inhaling but most likely you will want to run through water. As of now hooking to water will require a tube of some sort. Vito was using a silicone hose in his video. We discussed the possibility of creating an all glass water attachment but the slight variations with glass will make this a harder task. It will hopefully be addressed.

I've seen every generation of the VB2 from the start. It's been so long that it's a bit surreal speaking freely about it. You guys/gals are in for a real treat.

It's late and I've got to get some sleep. Stay tuned for more.

Mynameismud But call me Alowishus Devadander Abercrombie.

Would it be easy/possible to make the mouthpiece a Ground glass joint instead of just glass? Not the best option for people with standing glass pieces, but if you make it 14mm im thinking it would be roughly the same diameter as the mouthpiece is now do you could still attach tubing or hit it dry, and it would work great with like a WT like the pinnacle or F bomb. And for people with Cloud hydra tubes they could just get a 14/18 mm adapter.
