Is it possible to vape hard hasch in this? And is it possible to just put small amounts when going to smoke alone?

You can use small amounts in the chamber as the plunger is adjustable on it's thread.

Fortunately I have a little corner place in my house similar to a built in pantry (that's basically used for storage and the chest freezer) that I can keep my Rise constantly hooked up.

Great desktop vape and great customer service. I've had this thing for around 7 months and I haven't smoked a thing since the day it arrived. I can't recommend this vape and it's CS highly enough. Obv because of the whip then the alternatives for using glass with this are endless.

Hey all! I bought a barely used Rise 2.0 on ebay that came with new hoses and bags with every accessory plus 2 multi whip adapters and a few other doubles. It arrived today and I was completely out of herb. Luckily I had a large quantity of kief in my grinder and lined the bottom of the herb chamber with it. Wow! What a session that was! I already love this vaporizer! I have had many vaporizers including the Plenty the Vapexhale Cloud EVO, Log vapes, etc, but this may be the best $100 that I've ever spent on a vaporizer!

I read your post, and it gave me cause to think. I own many vapes, and generally rotate though them all.
I am guilty of favoring a few and using them a few times a day, but through a week, (many sessions a day) I touch each vape.
The Vapir Rise was set up on the very top of my shelf, next to my other vapir vapes:
    • Vapir Oxygen mini
    • Vapir NO2
    • Vapir One 5.0
    • Vapir Prima
And I kept up with all of my shelves, except the top one.
I pulled down my Rise, and filled that cup up with almost a gram of nicely ground bud.
I forgot how ample the chamber was.
When it got to temp, I used the single nipple top with a regular 2 foot hose, and Rise was shooting vapor already.
I did hit after hit... slowing the fan to lowest speed during my exhales to waste less vapor.
I forgot how sensitive to my touch the fan adjust was. I could go up and down in fractions of seconds.
I also forgot how many fan speeds there are...
I raised it to the top, and my lungs could hardly keep up with it!
The bags do fill faster than many vapes.
I did not use the bag though, and had a very long session.
    I learned something new today.
Because of the insulation, and how extremely hot the metal chamber is, I was able to get an extra half dozen Vapor producing hits after the unit was turned off, and unplugged!I am good for the morning, and Rise is back in the rotation.

I loaded a pinch of kief in the 2.0 and filled a bag with super intense vapor that I am still recovering from! I don't think that I have ever been elevated to that level using any other method of inhalation. The Vapir Rise 2.0 is the most unappreciated vaporizer on the market today and has been for way too long!

Well… it has been a Vapir kind of day.
I rekindled my love early in the day of my Vapir Rize….A half hour session that consumed 1.1 grams, and left me comfortable for a couple of hours!
.33 of a gram fit into the loading disk of the Vapir One 5.0…. and left me smooth and disk depleted. An hour well spent.
I busted out with the Prima after lunch, and did 2 sessions… one with flower, and one with concentrate(wax) on the mesh pad.
Next. a pre-dinner treat using the Vapir Oxygen Mini… .25 of a gram.
This brings us up to the moment… I have a small scoop of .1 of a gram in the NO2 (7 years old.. only one battery change at year 3).. and the NO2 session just won't end!!
There is a reason the NO2 is still on the top 3 of the original part of my signature.

Now for a tidbit…. a piece of Vaporization History that is not well known.
While I have other favorite vapes… the NO2's medicating effect always felt different to me, and I loved the unit.. (I have owned this one for 7 years)
This was when I learned about the difference between convection and conduction.
The Oxygen Mini came early on, but needed to be plugged in… even though it was tiny. You could get an external rechargeable battery pack, the size of half a brick… but I always used mine plugged in.
Vapirs Vaporizers are all convection vapes.
NO2 was fore-runner in the technology of convection Portables, and the portables that followed began to grasp at conduction technology. (tight oven = less battery power consumed Vs. heated air passing through standing herbal matter)
AS far as Convection Technology, Vapir has remained consistent, and steadfast in pursuit of convection devices.
    How do I know?
I have stayed in contact with this company through the years.
I found that they have held the first patent on convection vaporization, since 2007.
    You can view it at
    Patent for Convection Vapor Technology.
Any way, I have just expressed respect for Vapir, a company that has not faltered...
and I owe them a great deal as I learned from their devices!

The Rise is my daily driver, have had it a few years but went 100% FC last November and began using it constantly. I love it but am sure there are better desktops out there. The clip on the piece with the plunger screen is busted in one corner so it has to be clipped onto the chamber in a certain way, air seal suffering a bit. If anyone knows how to fix it (soldering maybe?) it would help a lot

I love to put a ground gram in the chamber, and fire the Unit up with a short tube (No2 sized)on it and nothing else, and treat myself to a rather long session... sometimes handheld, as I sip the vapor.
I guess I already mentioned I love the part where I unplug the unit, and still get a half dozen good rips!

the adapter has started to go on mine, lost a clip and a ring as snapped but it's still usable for now.
I'm currently in dialogue with them, I don't expect a free replacement but I'm not willing to pay the shipping they charge to send it here.

I emailed them last night and haven't heard back yet, if it comes down to it I'll try soldering.

Have you tried pulling the clip out and bending it so it seats temporarily? I have to twist the chamber on but at least it works for now

it's still very usable but the seal does suffer and sometimes the chamber will slip of and stay in the unit but i'm still getting good vapor production and still getting high...it's only a matter of time before it becomes unusable tho

I think tonight after I get off work for my bbq this thing is coming out. Used the Haze V3 last night. Micro dose got me right where I needed to be. No anxiety. Perfect high. I think for the few friends that are coming over this big boy will come out. Need to find my Og Skywalker shatter.

I love the multi adapter. #partytime
I don't know what's going of with these guys at Vapir, no help at all, no offer on free or reduced shipping, no direction to a EU supplier, no response at all.
Someone got burnt after the chamber fell of the adapter and landed in her lap, again no response at all from Vapir, very disappointing and respect GONE!
I found the adapter in a German store after following a link on Vape Critic 420 sales thread. £17.14 inc shipping, arrives Tues.
Time to move on to a Silver Surfer, a Super Silver Surfer i think. I'm already using the Elev8r with a coil from 7th Floor.

The package (Rise) contains a tool to use for the chamber, to avoid getting burned.. and recommend it's use, when handling the unit shortly after a session.
I made a "Rise Direct Draw" video.
My original rise video is at http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/vapir-rise-vaporizer.10558/page-2#post-626226
At about 2:55 on that video it shows the protective shell/tool to safely handle the removed topd when hot.
Today's vid is right here (I get the tastiest hits once fan is off and heat is shut down... just from residual heat!):

the chamber only fell out because of the broken adapter, I wasn't quick enough with the chamber holder.

The adapters and crap are by far the biggest downfall of the Rise. If it was GonG it'd be almost perfect

I do have to say this vape does not so well with shatter. Tried a bag of shatter on 420. Was not impressed. Wasted my last bit of shatter. Should have used my Haze for it.

I mainly use my Rise to fill bags on the odd occasion that people come over. Brew a bag play some Wii U bowling. It’s a perfect combo I find.
