We're going to take care of you but in the future, if anyone has any glass issues, please don't use your HydraTube first. In this picture, I can see residue build up and the number one thing that gets vaporizer companies in trouble is when people send stuff through the mail that has some sticky icky icky on it somewhere. I know a handful of companies that had to close up shop because merchandise that was returned was confiscated by authorities and as much as we love to help our customers, we want to keep the business running so we ask you to not use your HydraTube if you notice any flaws in it.

Testing them as we speak. We are just making sure all the gremlins that plagued our US models have been worked out. Testing has been going very well and I can see a launch happening by end of Q1 (March)

I bet testing is going well, you and the R & D team must be baked out your skulls!

Cloudy...
Thanks for the info! Really happy to hear that you are "killing" that gremlins before launching

b0,
YESSSSSSSS!!!!! My Cloud was shipped today! I am so happy! This is truly a joyous occasion!!! I can't wait to have it back :-)
Congratz man, you deserve it, you've been waiting a while! I was hoping for mine to be sent out as well, but hopefully next week I guess. After the denial phase, I hit bargaining, then anger, then it was reminiscing of good old times, and finally acceptance. She'll be home soon, I know it.
Now back to smashing my F5 in my email...

Yes, it feels good to almost be back. Good luck on your return! Hopefully you get taken care of soon. I know those phases all too well :-). It's good to get to the acceptance phase :-).

Anyhow, can't wait to be back in Clouds :-)

Edit: According to tracking, Monday :-D

Does anyone know if they are making any other size ELBs or we just sticking with one size for now?

Look at that SSFG Hydraline, sitting on top of the Cloud all sexy n' shit. Damn, I want me one of those. Missed the steal in the Classifieds....yeah Calvin, i'm looking at you with envy ;)

I've really been finally savouring and enjoying the Cloud dry with an empty HT at 11 to 1ish ob the clock and the smoothness and taste has been FANTASTIC! I never knew a bit of water took away so much flavour!

Haha its amazing, im the only one at the shop who uses the cloud, everyone there makes hydratubes and they've never hit one til i showed up.

makes those errlheads go "damn.....that thing HITS....thats wtf we have been making?"

SM, you might need to send Sean another cloud for shop use :spliff:
how else are the proto's gonna get tested? :D
im the only one there with a working cloud.

The company has really dropped the ball on helping me with my warranty repair/upgrade.
They must be extremely busy with whatever, because my emails get ignored. :\
I wanted to pay them for a new shell installed because the sleeve made it ugly and sticky IMO.
I was told a price and promised an invoice, just to be ignored for over a week.
I mailed my defective cloud back right before Christmas, but damn....holidays are over now.
Good thing I have my supreme...otherwise.....
I had to tell you guys; maybe they'll read this more than an email. Sup?

**ALSO, I can't hardly believe they haven't fixed their package labeling to make it more discrete.
I complained about that on this thread a few months back when I first got my cloud.
They said they were fixing that too..

Rottweiler1080z,
After having the Cloud for about a week here are my thoughts so far. (Sorry for the long post)

All this talk bout dry hitting the Cloud made me want to try it too. So I used my mouthpiece from the HT 2.0 and like many of you, I was astonished at the flavor and smoothness of the hit. However, I have a pretty sensitive throat so after 1-2 dry hits, I start getting irritation and uncomfortable coughing.

The unit does get pretty hot but I am used to it being a previous LSV daily user. The only areas where the heat is not very bearable are the screws on the side. For this reason I cut two strips from the included sleeve and just applied it to the sides where the screws are located, in the narrow indented trench. I really like the units look and style that I did not want to put the rubber all over it. Kinda reminded me of sofas with clear plastic protector over it (no offense to anyone that might have this , a non important opinion. )

Anyway I really do love the Cloud through water and good diffusion. Before purchase of the Cloud, I thought I wouldn't use the HT very much since I already have some nice glass. But after trying the HT and Cloud duo I was in love and did not even use my other glass until two days after. After finally pairing the Cloud with my other glass I was falling in love all over again. The Cloud really outshines itself through some nice water diffusion. I would really like to see some 'Hydrabubs' or 'Hydrabubbler' style HT's, where the piece would a bit shorter and the mouthpiece coming off the back/side instead of the usual top style. Just throwing out an idea.

As to medication, like I said in an earlier post, this unit delivers by far the best I've ever had. It also gets me where I want to be quicker, like dabbing. That has been my one and only dislike about vaporizing, that even though I used to take one hit and feel slightly medicated, it would take a lot of hits/bowls to actually achieve the feeling of being vaked out of your mind. With the Cloud, its so easy to get wherever you want to be, have you're ELB's ready and you're set. You can blow through those things as fast as you want. With the ELB closed, my load is about half or less of the remaining space. I find that packing this way enables to thoroughly vaporize the produce and the need to stir is eliminated. My ABV comes out a darker brown than that of my LSV which made me just start a different ABV jar for just the Cloud. The extraction is really remarkable.

All in all I really love this product and now understand why many have purchased 2nd units for backup. It truly is the best so far in my opinion. It's like gourmet, high end vaporizing. Totally worth the price tag, and definitely a luxury vaporist/glasshead item. I think the price is justified being it is a glass tool and there are people with glass pieces that are more expensive. I treat the Cloud like any other glass piece, maybe even better since its attached by the cord and the glass joint looks like the Achilles tendon weak-spot of the unit. However it has become my new Daily Driver and I look forward to my many many more future uses. Thanks again VapeXhale team and the people of FC, really amazing job, the vaporizing community needed a product like this.

Anyway guys back to some more testing!
Stay Cloudy folks!

sm, was there a main cause to those clouds that broke down, or is it all down to 'electronic bugs'?

Our packing labels are as discrete as possible, while still following the best practices of an high end product. VapeX represents an aroma therapy company. Our website, and our marketing does not identify us as a product for anything other then that. When we send products and charge credit cards, we have to have proof in scenarios where packages get lost that we properly identified our package. The outside of our boxes are plan brown, so unless the "postman" reads the packing label and already knows what a vaporizer is there shouldn't be much worry.

At the same time we are always looking into ways that we can improve this but for now we are doing the maximum we can, while still protecting vapexhale from vulnerability to fraud.

If you wish further discretion, ezvapes.com and some of the other distributors that are starting to carry our product all utilize masking DBA's on there packing labels. For example if you buy a Volcano from Vapeworld the packing label will show "Warehouse goods" which is a seprate sub entity setup by Vapeworld. If you buy directly from Storz and Bickel, the packing label will show Storz and Bickel as the packing slip.

I think maybe it was due to the holidays and a one man army type thing as I had a similar experience. In fact, IME email has been the worst way to contact the team (0/5 emails answered), same with voicemail,....best is a support ticket.

The important thing is that VX came through in the end!!! :)

The shipping label being discrete must be hit or miss on the package labeling. I got a label the other day that had really large font for the addresses. VAPE XHALE was in really bold, large, super easy to read lettering on the return address part of the label, I could read it as the post man was walking up to me on the front porch... personally I am not that concerned, but I did not find it very discrete to be honest, and since it has been brought up I thought I should share my thoughts. This was when I got my cloud buddy last week that I took notice of it. I don't know if anything can be done about that, when I print my shipping labels here they usually come out with pretty small txt. I don't know what is causing those shipping labels for VXL to have such large lettering. Too bad I already tossed the packaging in the recycle last week, so I don't have it to show a picture... but imagine font about the size of THIS ... VAPE XHALE so I don't know what can be done to about that, if anything at all.
I am glad to see so many new Cloud people :D and congrats to xchadb for getting in on the swagger! Look forward to seeing your work.

. . . ezvapes.com and some of the other distributors that are starting to carry our product . . .

IMO Troi's passing remark here is HUGE.

This means that VXL is beginning its move into "indirect" sales channels. Until recently, like most start-ups VXL solely used a "direct" sales model, i.e., it's online store. The differences are very significant and IMO this move has major implications for us as VXL customers.

In short, using distributors/retailers typically means a variable-cost model which is (after certain front-loaded costs) largely self-funding and becomes more advantageous as sales increase. On the marketing/sales side, channel partners provide incremental market reach. As a result the manufacturer can achieve compound growth in volume while increasing profitability.

And indirect can also be enormously important if not an imperative, for doing business in some parts of the world. The nature of a product and import/distribution/financial requirements can make it too expensive, and in some cases just infeasible, to sell direct into some countries. And then there are the major challenges of localization and market reach. International distributors can solve these problems.

Going indirect does create a whole new set of operating requirements for the manufacturer, which are far from trivial. Distributors/retailers have a lot of skin in the game. If the manufacturer messes up and somehow hurts the channel partner(s), the partner(s) can potentially do some real damage to the manufacturer. This is another reason why start-ups get the direct model working right before moving into channels (and why sometimes the move is done in steps).

IMO the fact that VXL is moving into channels suggests that VXL has reached a very important milestone in its product and operating maturity. It also indicates that VXL has achieved a volume level and market position which is now solid enough to support making the investments required to build and support channels, and to capitalize on that.

IME it follows then that, especially if VXL continues with its strategy of revenue reinvestment, we likely will see some big changes at VXL before too long. There will (slowly) be distributors to purchase and receive support from, which some will prefer. The user base will grow significantly beyond fc.com members (it probably already has). The biggest effect though will be the additional funding for more product R&D, both improving on the Cloud itself and adding new offerings to the Cloud ecosystem - more to choose from for us and greater value for our $$$. And with that, also more investment protection.

IMO, this is a really big step. Congratulations, VXL.
