Do the Clouds with the flared bottom have any other differences? Make less noise or anything?

I heard that they made a ticking noise, the screws on the sides were different and the insulation on the glass air path was different. That's all I know from research.

i am THE saddest person ever today :(:(
I've waited since sunday for my cloud to come in the mail
and I come home today only to see a tiny package containing only two packs of ELB's which were meant to be shipped to someone else and i'm left with no cloud :(

There were cases when ELBs got delivered before the Cloud itself in separatepackage. But you should contact them and ask just to be sure. Are you sure these ELBs are not for you?

Yea I left a message and emailed them
But yes im sure, because it's two packs of four and if my memory serves me correctly the cloud only comes with two.
And also, in the packaging slip on the box there was a different name/address on it

Last night was pretty damn cool. We got to present the Cloud to a non-cannabis audience and it was well received. There was a helicoptor that you could control with your brain, a satellite that you could launch into space, and even an iphone app that allows a plane to parachute a burrito to you if you are outdoors. At the end of the night, there was an audience vote for best presentations/invention and the photo says it all!

    yea that's what I meant I left a ticket

and that's an amazing performance, and really shows how enthusiastic us cannabis users could get about a product that even non cannabis users can appreciate

SM, yes indeed, the photo speaks for itself! Congratulations on the product, the presentation, and the vote!

An omen of yet more folks also voting with their wallets: Good thing the Clouds have room for us all - we are going to have plenty of company. The more the Cloudier! :D

thats awesome! we were watching this on the couch saying to eachother how fucking hard it would be to try and present something like a vape at a non-cannabis crowd, but being in SF that makes it a lot easier...

but also going up against all those other pretty crazy inventions... pretty awesome the vape wins :science:

I'm surprised the parachuting burrito didn't split the stoner vote

    Congrats SM & VXC

If there was a satellite you controlled with your brain that parachuted burritos from space directly to you... you might have gotten a run for your money!

Just got a new cloud and am not getting thick vapor like I'm seeing in the videos. I have tried various settings from 3 o'clock to 9 o'clock and nothing is producing much that I can see at all. My herbs are pretty damp - could that be the problem? Should I be breathing in slower or does it matter? I feel like I'm doing about what I see in the youtube videos.

I am letting it heat up plenty - I've even tried several hours (turning it off an on like the sheet that comes with it says to).

Any help? Also, if you fill your ELB about 70% of the way up, how many hits do you generally get off of it?

Try just a small pinch and see how it works, if you over fill the ELB you can restrict the airflow, and yes, if your herb is not dry it will vape differently, and will hit a bit harsher.

Set cloud to 3 o'clock. Break up your herb....load it, place in cloud for a few mins before hitting. Moist, sticky herb needs to acclimate to the cloud. Stir it after a hit, crushing up your herbs finer......Second hit should "Cloud" you out. 70% prob 6-8 hits. IMHO!

I had this initial experience ... and now I empty out an ELB with 2-3 hits at a 1-1:30 setting.

Here's some tips based on my experience (you'd find the same if you browsed back through, but to avoid unnecessary stress ...):

    - Make sure the herb is well grinded and not packed in there tightly, but loosely loaded (and not overloaded). My preferred method is the "insert in tube or 18mm glass piece and suck it up" which ensures it's evenly, not too tightly loaded. Alternately, don't push it in, just tap the side of the elb, or tap the elb on a table or something to get the herb to fall down into it. If it's stuck, lightly poke at a couple little spots with a small poker (ie. nail or something) so as to not compact it but just to loosen it so it falls more readily. I can't emphasize enough to not compact it as was mentioned above for avoiding restricting air flow.

    - Again on the topic of air flow, just in case you are restricting air flow anyways, pull as hard and fast and long as you can ... unlike other vaporizers, don't sip at it but suck for all your worth and if it's a matter of the air flow being too blocked up by over stuffing this act will compensate

    - 3:00 is a good starting setting if you are having trouble getting sufficient vapor

Think that's about it ... the heating up thing is helpful, but I'm sure you've more than got that covered ... if I'm turning it on and hitting it pretty much as soon as it gets to temp I usually set it around 3:00 otherwise if it's going to be on for a good 15 minutes or more first, then a setting of 1-1:30 does just as well.

Has anyone that put the silicone sleeve on tried to remove it yet? There is no way it's coming off without leaving the sticky side stuck to the beautiful exterior of the cloud......I'm pissed I put it on!

Well I drove over to the temple and saw the Vaporess herself today :D had to pick up my shirt, thank you Jam, you have an amazing talent and are most awesome  It was fun to sit and chat FC stuff and laugh for a while :)

Tye Dye is a little science, a lot of art, with a big dash of divination thrown in for good measure. So you never know. I knew it was going to be cool but I was NOT expecting the shoulder spots to look like X-Ray monkey skullzzz with glowing plasma brainzzz!!! :rockon:And the circle around the logo with the tail? Or the bat on the back logo? Or the bearded face coming out of the fire on the back?!? :whoa: Its a wearable Rorschach test, amazing!!!

Thanks again Jam, I love my shirt
