I used to weigh my loads, but after a while I got good at eyeballing it. Occasionally i'll weigh it just to see how accurate I am :)

I like 1:15 personally;) but seriously, I usually start at 11 (whispy tasty and smooth hit), and end at 2 (flavor blasting lung buster)

So I just did 0.01 in the evo, it didn't quite cover the bottom so I used a little more, about 0.15 total (but I got really dense material right now, so if was something more fluffy then it should be fine). I had to take a few more draws than usual, but it did get the job done! You just gotta do a few draws to pass the hot air thru the material and get it all toasty. I vaped it at 2 o clock, I did a few at 11, but didn't get much, so I just wacked it up to the higher temp range

Now it didn't extract everything like a log vape would (nothing can imo), but it performed satisfactory regardless. I am impressed.

so you should be good to go, sisonpyh!

I have had my Evo for a few weeks now and I just don't rate it!
I'm finding my ghost Mv1 a lot more flavorfull and I get much bigger clouds...the EVO is going on E bay:wave:

Your Evo is broken if an MV1 is outperforming it.

I don't think it is broken...Don't get me wrong it produces clouds but it's lacking in taste compared to my mv1 and the vapour seems a lot more dense compared to the evo...I've also owned a volcano which I prefer the mv1 also.

Sounds like a temperature issue, i.e. Evo is too hot. Try turning the dial to 11 o clock, leaving the unit to warm up for 20 minutes, and then taking a long rip.

I've had it set on 2 o'clock so I doubt I will get bigger rips turning it down to 11??

U won't get bigger rips but u will get much better taste. 2 o'clock first setting is usually way to high to get flavor but it will cache the load very quick. First set the evo to max and then to 11 after it turns green. I usually wait about 20 minutes in total and then after that it works amazing slowly raising the temp when the vapor or flavor wains.

If I have the option of choosing mv1 or Evo at home and there's no rush to go anywhere or do anything, I'm reaching for my evo...probably 8 times out of 10. For me, the ease of draw and length of draw needed to reach maximum hit potential is a lot better on my lungs with the Evo. As I'm getting older, this has become apparent in the vapes that stick in my collection these days. Plus the AVB is more even in my personal experience.

But when you do get that right hit from the MV1, I do understand the potential. It can definitely get close to EVO quality vapor and effectiveness. I recently acquired an MV1, so I'm familiar with what you're trying to compare. My initial impression on my first hit with it, it felt like a mini evo.

DC connection should pretty much always outperform battery powered

Full basket would be more than plentiful for me haha. I used to fill my Fury 2 full and take a hit or two then put it down. While it would last a few rounds, I found that the flavor quickly faded vs only filling up what I need for a single hit.

You know, I have seen several videos and read peoples comments about use but was more concerned with the microdosing aspect. Good to know for when I get it though!

Thank you so much for testing this out!! Greatly appreciate it and really happy to hear that it works. I was thinking I might have to try to use the concentrate tube or find something to sit on top of the herb to prevent it from being pulled to the top.

    Perfect advice.

I've vaped both very hard. The Evo is the definition of consistent, when it comes to quality clouds. The MV1 is not.

Best, biggest, cloud from each compared side by side--it really isn't close. Evo wins again. Sure, the MV1 can produce a big hit--but compared to a Evo inverted on a large quality bong--the MV1 cannot keep up with that....

    Maybe it’s MEDICAL?

    Why do people lie?
How is a portable better than a plug-in?
What do you know as fact?

I agree the AVB is more even for sure and it does hit me hard....I think I'm drawing to hard as last night I tried drawing slower which produced better clouds and it propper nailed me...I'm not selling the EVO now

Yes, if yours is a whistling unit, staying right under that whistle seems to be the sweet spot. Not sure if this is consistent with all whistling units. The two I did have worked well using this technique.

I mean... no. I take it you feel the same about liquor ? You definitely don’t have to like use or approve of concentrates or extracts but to call them the crack of cannabis is just misleading. That’s like saying liquor is the crack of alcohol. The metaaphor doesn’t carry. When you make crack you significantly alter the way the chemical is taken into your system, with concentrates/extracts or liquor its not. Your not converting chemicals when you make these you’re just removing the extra filler that’s not doing anything, and In This process, yes, you sometimes loose some of the entourage effect but at the end of the day your not converting it chemically to another form... is orange concentrate the crack of fruit? Are vitamins crack? I’m not trying to be a dick but when you say stuff like that without anything backing you up it just sounds like the fear mongering I hear on the news.

Ahh I think I quoted the wrong member lol. Doesn’t exactly make my point stronger lmao to be fair though I haven’t actually dabbed today

Do you not realize how much shit you ingest and inhale living in society? Actually never mind that again I’m not arguing that you should like hydrocarbon extracts. But you do realize that’s not all extracts on concentrates? Calling it crack is just plain ignorant. There are many informed reasons someone may not want to use concentrates, particularly hydrocarbon extracts... but as someone who has had far far to much experience with drugs.... that’s just not accurate. I respect your opinion of not liking them but that analogy is complete bullshit and fear-mongering... I know many people who wouldn’t be able to function without the help of extracts because flower doesn’t cover their needs. But I guess all those medical patients are just crack heads? They just wanna get real real high that must be it. I’m not saying their aren’t idiots who dab, or blow themselves up trying to make it... but it’s not crack. Crack is a seriously dangerous drug that ruins fucking lives. Cannabis is not. End of story.

Off topic, who said I'm gonna use anything that's been extracted with butane? I like those solventless extracts. That's where it's at. I'm getting some solventless sugar and some live rosin.

Anyway, I'm gonna most likely get a peak, but to be bring it back on topic, that's not to say I'm not going to use my Cloud Evo. The Cloud Evo delivers lung busting concentrate hits. But sometimes, I'd rather take it easy, then in one big hit. LOL.
