Welp, feel like it was only last year I made a similar post (hard to find the info you want in these long mega threads to be fair).

I am considering once again leaping on a cloud evo for the holiday (I got until midnight anyway). The deal seems like the best one gets all year (especially if you want the hydratubes and quartz nails, which I believe I do).

    But a few questions.

First, I caught wind that they're testing something new? Granted, I know no one really knows, given they've only done minor revisions to the Evo over the years, it would suck to grab one just as an update is coming (in part because that also means an old Evo price drop, hate grabbing something I think is on sale only for the sale price to become the real one, as was the case when I grabbed the crafty actually :p ). So does anyone know anything further? some have thought it might just be a portable (Which would be neat!).

Also another issue, after the initial hydratubes that people favored came and went, there has been some talk since of them being lower quality? Did they vet that out with the most up to date ones they have? Also it's difficult for me to choose which among the current three would even be idea. The honeycbomb and bomb seem to stand out a little more and have a bit going on, but I was also a little undecided.

*and of course I'll obviously be checking this before later this eve, since there's a slight time limit (or well, wait until next year and try again, but if not for a few model, the 420 package looks good this year, and I struck out at local shops buying anything else so it would be fun to grab something I suppose!).

Correct me if I'm wrong but in a podcast I recently listened to they had interviewed the owner of vapexhale. He said he was trying to make something revolutionary to dabbing, because of an incident he had with one of his kids friends dad was over. He was caught off guard when a dab rig and torch was pulled out to smoke haha

Well you're probably not wrong for hearing that...but do tell, what's your point?

The vapexhale already is a very competent dabbing rig (and is also why I was excited that the current top 420 package even gives you the good nails for it)? And since dabbing is a primary focus of mine for it (given I do have a volcano for dry herb and have never wanted for more in that regard, but wished for something on that quality level for dabbing that wasnt a regular glass rig + torch), I'd be curious to know still if that implied a new Cloud evo, or something else entirely that wouldnt outmode the current (some have theorized a portable?).

I know it's all hush hush but I'm having a devil of a time figuring whether it should affect my purchase and/or will make me wish I had waited for next 4/20 at least.

I was just checking out the sales, and it says free shipping at the top of the page (420 sale), but when I add things to my cart and check the cheapest shipping option is still $60.

Yeah I was just going to place a order but shipping seems a bit expensive for a pack of nails.

Just dropping in to say that I still absolutely love my EVO and Turbine HT and to me, when I want to get knocked out of the park, its the EVO (well, if not a dab on the enail....but for herb, definitely the EVO). Just love this device.

Also, although I certainly don't know him, I rather like Seibo and the outreach via tips emails and interviews. He seems to try to keep a really open and honest relationship with the community.

I did have my EVO fail shortly after first getting it (bad connector at the main power input) and VXH did a fine and timely job of RMA repair and ship back.

Hard to go wrong with an EVO.

Ended up grabbing an evo locally and I got it for 180 bux with a vxl hydratube. Boom! Just need to buy the nails and got some Elbs on the way. The elb he gave me is pretty clogged even after soaking it in ISO. So just waiting for the new ones to make my experience even better. Can't wait to finally use concentrates without using a flipping torch.

For a real treat, hook up the evo to an FC mod with hydratube as mouthpiece. Crank heat to high, insert nail with butane honey oil. Inhale deeply. Winning

Any way you can post a pic of what it would look like with the setup you are saying? Trying to figure out how that piece would work with the evo nail, since it can't be inverted

    Just dropped in...
Tried all sorts of j-hooks, adapters and Gong setups. But the one method that I use is the simplest. Just an small F/F heat adapter and an 19mm straight glass wand. I let the thick part of the electrical cord rest on my pinky finger and palm the rest of the EVO like a large water bottle. When I am at the end of my draw, I lift the wand and clear the tube. So essentially the EVO is part of the glass shotgun in every sense. :ko:

@DDave has a V3 adapter set that was designed for the EQ, But I'm sure it might add something to the EVO experience. I have setup the EVO with the materials above the socket before as a thing.

I'm loosing my ELB's! so I might try some sort of magnet setup to keep my composure.
    :peace:

Why is shipping so expensive? I also paid alot to customs.

How to clean the XNails? Qtips are not long enough to get to the bottom of the nail. I soaked overnight in alcohol but am lost on what do next...
