we dont want to see you as the first(on this forum?!!) to own a PD and get it taken by customs...or any vape for that matter..

besides, if you have it in a bag with just a bunch of aromatherapy stuff, it would make it clear that its nothing more than an aromatherapy diffuser, which isnt that out of the ordinary for someone to take with them i would think

take your tubes in your carry on just in case though

Henn-juts go to your local head shop and ask if they have any vapor-genies brow its requires no electricity....you can screw the bowl top onto your bong(if you have the old school plastic water pipes with the metal screw on bowls)

I agree (good idea Henn ), but have never used one.

SM-This reminds me of my honeymoon out in Jamaica [...] The jamaicans would absolutely flip if they saw a vaporizer, I described it to many of the locals and they had no idea what I was talking about. Maybe I'll bring one the next time I'm out there, HIGHLY recommended! Respect!

My Idea:
Buy a new unit (purple days is most noob-friendly IMO). Either have it shipped to Jamaica (if possible) or bring it with you. Use it with locals who may be able to help you find quality herbs (sorry for the lack of follow-up to this next comment, but high quality grown/cured herbs DO exist in Jamaica ) to fill the unit (they may bend over backwards after you blow them away). Before leaving sell/give the unit to one of your new groups of friends or an individual (depending on your experience with them, financial status, belief in karma, plans to return, etc.). Although this probably does not need to be stated, use your judgment when making new friends (especially in certain areas--resort staff can usually help provide insight into such demographics).

Gotta go put out some more fires (not literally) at work (I like feeling useful, but... ).

If you are arriving in Jamaica via Cruise Ship/Boat, customs is usually a breeze. Personally, I've had more trouble flying in.

Don't ask a cab driver for good stuff, and do not let anyone take you anywhere. If you are a t aresort type location just ask one of the waiters Tell him to bring it you! Tell him you will pay an extra 20.00 American if you have to... they will bring it!

One time they brought me a HUGE bag for only 100.00 american, like a large ziploc bag. Quality was ok, definitely outdoor grown. Probably would be decent with some better care, but then I am sure I would have paid more. Say you want quality... otherwise they will bring you a big ol' bag of junk/bad mids.

A good thing to keep in my mind as well is that, for some people in Jamaica, herb is a very serious thing. Rasta's in particular, it's part of their religious belief's and practices. So be respectful! Respect goes a long way down there, its opened some doors most tourists never get to cross!
Be cool! Pay a little extra, to you its just a 20, to them it's a whole lot more.

Ask politely, if they say no, then don't bug them. It plentiful enough down there that you shouldn't have to bother anyone or go anywhere.

FWIW I have flown with my VaporBros HF. For almost any vape: just clean it as good as you can, and put in your checked luggage. Alternatively, if you can, ship it to where ever you are going and pick it up when you get there.

When selecting a portable I would consider what are your portable needs.

If your use is in public where consuming MJ would be an issue, like in movie theater, than I would consider a vape that better disguised this.

Considering the vapman requires a torch/lighter and its operation is apparent that you are inhaling something it is more apparent.

While I-inhale does not require a torch/lighter and it looks as if your drinking something out of straw rather than inhaling a vapor. The I-inhale is better suited for vehicle use than a torch/lighter based vape as well due to its ease of operation.

in the above situation I would take the In-Inhale over the vapman.

Now

If your portable needs are for the likes of a party the vapman/lighter based vapes is a good choice and would appeal to those when cost is a factor. Good use for basically anywhere you would basically smoke a traditional bowl.

Certainly the I-inhale being new is a factor and it is a valid concern in my opinion as historically shown by vapir oxygen.

The I-inhale has had some issues but I believe those have been largely explained for the most part to give them a fair view. First they were reported to have extremely expensive replacement parts and second they were reported to have very bad customer service as getting into contact with them.

It turns out a website had a typing error and while though they are now corrected they still are a bit expensive from my view but still workable but I would like to see these lowered some. Just the fact of buying the screens for their price would infuriate me to pay that much for screens. Their may be more into that I do not know such as if they are some special unique screens or something. So I could be off a bit on my understanding of prices but seemed expensive to me. It turns out they take two weeks off for the holidays and that seems to account for many of the complaints. It is my understanding from some of the complaints is that the issue was satisfactorily being taken care with one instance of them sending a replacement. I look forward to seeing how their customer service pans out but it looks like a very good company.

If the cost of vaporizer was not an issue I recommend the I-inhale without a worry based on what people have written about.

If cost was a factor I would first reflect upon the situation I would be using the vaporizer and if it basically matches where one would currently smoke a bowl or a joint than a lighter based vape is good.

If your going to be using the vape in areas such as the movies or in a general public area where the use of MJ is an issue I recommend saving up and investing in the In-inhale as it not only brings a good vaporizer draw it also is stealthy in its design and use.

All my opinion on portable vapes based on whats been written on the issue. Take it for what you will.

I once snuck in a 5th of liquor to Xmen 2 when it was in town... a cop was sitting 2 rows behind us and escorted me and my friend out of the building (we are lucky we didnt get MCs & Poss.) because he could smell it.

hello everyone new here. i just got my i-inhale yesterday. as i am new to vaping, and following instructions and reading review/advise, i have had very good results with my i-inhale, and am very happy with it so far.

For what it's worth, hell yeah I'd bring an i-inhale to the movies.

FWIW, I just received my VB and whip, neither cleaned, via UPS, packed in the original box. If you can, I would say shipping to yourself is the least stressful way to transport a vape.

As far as smoking in theaters goes, I guess it entirely depends on where you are. There are definitely places where you'd be fine, but most theaters (and their patrons) aren't as chill. I have a very hard time smelling the vapor I make, but can say from unfortunate experiences that there is a definite odor, especially in confined spaces with little air circulation, but also that the odor does go completely away, just not immediately.

OH, absolutely. Me and my friend cooked and saw Speed Racer at IMAX this summer...... one of the better cinematic experiences I've had in a while. But unless you do firecrackers cooking usually takes a little more planning out, a while to kick in, and it seems I almost inevitably overestimate how much I should eat. You could always fill a bag with vapor and just take the bag I suppose....

i have used my new i-inhale (which i got for a christmas present from me darlin' wife - thanks luv!) on a crowded train here in Dublin. no-one sitting directly beside me but lots of folk all around me, behind, in front etc. and no-one batted an eyelid or even noticed as far as i could see. !

How long is the process of heating and inhaling with the Vapman? If it's pretty quick, a pre-show visit to the toilet (with stalls) would seem to take care of the stealth issue (provided your lighter doesn't make an obvious "CLICK" when you ignite it. The guy over in the next stall might think you're smoking, and here in the US that's generally frowned upon.)
Of course, I also have used my Vappy with a converter in the car. Looks like I'm just drinking something out of a straw. People walking by didn't even bat an eye. Stumbled in and blinked stupidly at the ticket clerk, but it's all good!

Dogs! funny story , a friend of mine was pulled on his way back from the Dam, the dog goes through the back seat, finds nothing. my friend asked would the man like him to open the boot.. no says the customs man , the dog would smell anything if it were in the car! little did he know my friend had his rather large stash on the back seat,, right under the dogs nose... LOL must have had a cold poor thing. Which Icon is it for a smug smile?

I used to live in Germany about 45 minutes from holland. A buddy of mine was coming back to Germany with a load of hash and got lost and was actually going the wrong way, further into Holland. He ran into a road block.

They ask him, do you have anything. He says no. They say we are going to ask you one more time and if we find anything we will throw the book at you. He relents and shows them his stash.

They say ok, here is what would of happened and they bring out this little peewee dog and the hash was put where it was hidden. The little dog went right to it.

In the end they let him go and gave him back the hash which was then stolen by the police who dropped a coat over it and picked it up taking the hash.

A few months later he got a fine in the mail. Luckily he was not headed into Germany so they did go after him for smuggling it and just a possession charge which was nothin.
