Using a UD as a one or two hit vape is the secret to what these Dogs are all about. So simple. The best taste. The best hits. The most extreme economy of your herb.

I picked up a heavy duty extension cord when I got my buck/boost and since that is what moves, no failures. Only plug-in I bother with

C'mon man, you gotta get those smart outlets working!

The Underdog and the Espresso Machine get woken up 30 min before I do!

I have an unused smart outlet that I meant to try with one of my dogs. I tend to leave them at a 'standby' of about 6V, but having them off and just being able to turn them on from my phone before I leave work sounds pretty cool. Thanks for the reminder, I'd totally forgotten I had that outlet.

Heya Dogs, hope you're all doing well!

Life has been pretty hectic around here so we haven't been posting much but we have been hard at work getting things ready for the Birthday Sale which we're hoping will start next weekend. We'll have a bunch of different vapes as usual, at a wide range of prices to fit almost all budgets. There will also be some more Alphas and Micros available, as well as the very last of SC1 (Standard Core 1) models.

Long time lurker first time account/poster

I've been doing a lot of research for getting my second vape and first time desktop vape and your vapes seem perfect for me, I was wondering If the sale next weekend still applies to the ready made vapes you have on your site now I really have my eye on the bocote one it's a beautiful wood. I was going to get a custom one but I don't know if I can wait, they really look great.

Hi Dapper, welcome to FC and thanks for making us your first post from a new account.. fun!

Yeah the sale will definitely include the Ready Made ones which should be 10% off during the sale and have free shipping (inside the USA, international isn't free but is reduced shipping cost). You can contact Underdogette for specifics if you want, she's the Top Dog when it comes to the office/business stuff.

What's the best vvps i need to to keep a steady temp? I've been using the led dimmer with my dog and can't keep a steady temp! I'll get a couple of good draws and the heater cools down. Any suggestions?

I think it's probably the nature of the beast. After 2 draws mine needs 5 mins to get back to temperature. The new alpha dog has a bigger heater, or something? and apparently keeps temperature better. I have the travel Vvps they sell.

Mine does that sometimes but today it's holding temp! What power supply did you get for the travel vvps?

Is the glass stem capacity anything like an Arizer Solo stem?

Also approx capacity of the nongs and gongs.

I'm planning to run it through water 90% of the time - will it be able to keep up with a couple stems in a row? Would I just bump the voltage up of it can't?

You can find a groove of draw rate and voltage to keep them temp steady. The glass stems are maybe 3/4 to 1/2 of a solo stem. Nong is like a vapcap at smallest bowl.

Oh, awesome, sounds like you're already on the right track then!

Yes it should be able to keep up for a couple stems in a row, though there are so many variables there it's hard to make absolute statements like that. If you have too much a temp drop off from the hits being too close together then yeah you can bump the voltage a bit to compensate.

Thanks Kid! We don't have any experience the solo so it's great that you were able to chime in and help out.

That shouldn't be a problem to run a few stems in a row. I can usually get as many as I want in a row with no issues. There have been times where I can tell I may have pushed it too hard. I just let it sit for 1-2 minutes and its ready to go. It just has not been an issue for me.

I was going to wait for the sale actually but. I actually missed the bocote and couldnt purchase it before it was sold, so I had to pull the trigger on the jatoba because I didnt want the other one I liked to be sold, which looking closer at I like even more!
anyway I'm pretty excited I can't wait till it gets here:)

especially cause *cough cough* my other vape is going through herb like crazy

I'm glad you found another one you liked just as much (or even more).

I bet there's a chance given the circumstances that @underdogette will give you the sale price anyways. I can't say for sure since that's her domain and I don't want to step on her toes... but... wouldn't be surprised. :)

Gray rainy day around here......brought out the Banksia Dog plus an Olive Wood SS stem and an 18mm NonG for the kitchen counter whilst I putter. Just stop by every now and then for a nice little micro dose. Great tools:cheers:

no problem haha, I actually liked the jatoba more aesthetically, I was going to get the bocote because it was less dense. So in a way, you doing that got me the one I liked more, thankyou, Ha! plus it fits more aesthetically with the wood in my house, the house I live in is really old and used to be owned by a woodworker so basically everything is made of wood, every cabinet and door and all of the floors besides the kitchen and bathrooms are solid wood.

Thankyou, and I am consistently surprised regarding how nice you guys and just everyone on this forum is in general, I wish I had joined sooner actually. A few years ago I wasn't even aware of vaping.

Also I just remembered I had a question for you, because jatoba is such a dense wood, should I give it a little more power to achieve temperature, or does it just effect the heat up time. Does it's density also mean that it will retain heat better once warm?
