Ordered one before the nice review from Mr. Dipshit. Really excited.
The TVape showed up in the mail yesterday afternoon :
First impression was as ShipDit stated the packaging is nice and feels first class .
Then you come to the TVape , this is one nice little unit .... feels very well made heavy and solid . The finish is the same silk like rubbery feel as my Black DV , Very nice in the hand .
I Did order the Long Tube and the chamber is HUGE , GIANT even . When I dropped one of those little NO2 scoops of herb in it I had a hard time seeing it on the bottom of the Tube . The short tube should be big enough for most users IMHO .
After charging for the first time [ About 2 1/2 hours ] I cranked it up and after the initial warm up [2 min or so ] I took a slow long draw and received a nice tasty hit with fair vapor production the second hit was the same as the first the following couple hits decreased to no visible vapor and a little taste ...... Laid on the power button for 10 - 12 seconds and another slow long draw with fair vapor ( kinda like a light MFLB hit ) with the flavor still pretty good I took a few more hits at that temp with the flavor and vapor being about nil then bumped up the Temp again and got a decent hit followed by the same results as before after those 4 hits I bumped up the temp and took a few more hits with little visible vapor or taste but could feel it in my lungs . Turned it off and 10 - 15 minutes latter I was really a lot higher then I thought I would be on the 0.15 gm I was vaping. The AVB turned a very uniformed dark brown .
All in All I really think this is a great vaporizer .
so far I can't pull clouds off of it but it gets me as medicated as any other vape I've used and with less clouds you get much less smell . Givin' sometimes that a big lung busting hit feels productive (and it is).
But this is kind of a waste not want not kind of vape .
Late last night I actually filled my TVape up about 2/3 full ( 2 days herb for me most of the time ) and sat with a dog who was going nuts during a Major thunderstorm That dumped about 4 inches of rain in 3 hours with hundreds of lightning Bolts flying about , about 1/2 hour into the storm I fired up the TVape and got totally and completely Stoned , Darn that was a beautiful storm . The TVape seemed to give more vapor and more taste when you fill it a bit ( I know ! just common sense . )
I would and do recommend this Vaporizer as it stands right now on my second day owning The TVape .
It's maybe not for those who are looking for huge clouds but it medicates great is super easy to maintain I do believe if your mostly a solo vaporer the short tube will serve you better then the long (unless you have access to lots of product ) .
I like this vaporizer and I like it a lot . I just did another session with it and I couldn't stop thinking :
WHY SOMEONE HADN'T COME UP WITH THIS DESIGN BEFORE IT'S SO SIMPLE AND ELEGANT AND IT WORKS THE WAY I WANTED IT TO WORK ( I know I could just be on a "pink" cloud but all I'm sayin' is true today)
I Believe the TVape is a winner .
Awesome review Rude Boy, this thing seems like the perfect tool that lot of people have been looking for. I have a few questions though for those that have it:
1. Hows the batter life? How many "sessions" have you been getting pre-charge?
2. Can you swap out batteries?
I won't be able to tell you about battery life for a while as I don't run them all the way down for a few days .
For now when its new . I charge it after every 2-3 sessions of about 8-10 minutes each .
TVape says they will have X-Tra batteries for sale on there site soon . But no I don't see being able to easily DIY your own battery , that said I don't do any DIY on electronics and batteries I don't have the knowledge or skills . Hope This Helped .
EDIT: One thing I was impressed with was the fact that with such a short vaporpath the hits and the Nipple are very cool . I can feel the Heat on my tongue as I hit but no coughing and also the Nipple isn't warm on the lips . The draw is pretty restricted but seems to add to taking The long slow sips that so far works the best for me .
just got mine, charging now. looks solid based on weight, quality of workmanship and overall detail. reviews sound good.
Three units in the field, sounds like a great time for some videos
I'm glad you're liking yours Rude Boy,but I have run into a couple issues with mine.
It seem there is a heat issue with mine, and it's a weird one. First off the Etube (the part you put your material in gets hot, real hot.
When imfirst fire it up (370 degrees), it's is very warm, bordering on hot. But I'm not getting any vapor, just the taste, which is still very good. After the first hit I'm getting no vapor at all. Zip,zilch, nada. So I hold the button for 10 seconds which is supposed to raise the temp by 10 degrees. Still no vapor, but by now the Etube is hot,hot enough to make me hold the battery unit. Then I got pissed so I hit the throttle and held the button down a good 30 seconds, maxing the temp.which according to the maker is 420 degrees. Guess what? Still no vapor, but the Etube was so hot I could not hold it for more than a few seconds. Let's make that point very clear,IT GETS TO HOT TO HOLD! So I held the batterympart and started to draw. I draw using the MFLB method, loooong and slow. Still no vapor and the intake air was just barely warm. I hit it for about 10-15 minutes and had just the slightest buzz, and I was using Blueberry, which gets my high as hell no matter how I smoke/eat/or Vape it. Now I'm pissed,so I empty the tube to look at the ABV. It was verry light tan with a few greenish pieces left. I had loaded it loosely as the manual instructed. Then I looked at it with my jewelers loupe and found that the ABV was still covered on trichs. So I loaded the ABV in my MFLB and got 3 real nice hits, with vapor!
I emailed Tvape yesterday and am still waiting for a response. I have not abused the unit in any way. In fact I treated it very gently. But something is definatly wrong. How does the outside of the Etube get to hot to hold but the inside of the tube won't get warm enough to produce vapor? I obviously have a problem with my unit since Rude Boy is having good results with his.
I hope this gets resolved quickly because I love the unit,it's very well built and the philosophy behind it is sound.
I don't mean to be a downer, nor am I disrespecting Tvape in any way, shape or form. I just want my Tvape to perform as advertised.
One last thing,Tvape said in his earlier post the unit was using a 2200 mah battery, but my owners manual clearly states it's using a 1650 mah battery,so which is it?
Again I'm not slamming Tvape, just want an explanation and a working vaporizer. I will report back to FC as soon as I hear from them.
Sorry for the bummer of a post, but I believe anyone reviewing a Vape should include the good with the bad,and let the chips fall where they may. Hope to report back very soon with Tvapes response.
That Doesn't sound good . Damn Ship You knocked me right off that cloud .
Does it do the same with both Etubes .... long and short ?
Fricken aye I hope you get it all straitened out , and that the others out there don't follow suit .
So far mine hasn't gotten anywhere near that hot that I can't grab the top . I can unscrew it with no problem . Its on charge now , soon I'll give it another go and hope for the best .
First off sorry to hear you having an issue lets see if we can resolve it.
1. if there is no vapor this could mean that the ceramic filter is clogged this happens faster when you dont use the brass screens. You can easily clean it in any standard cleaner
2. Overheating, this can also be due to the airflow if it is clogged it will get hotter from the outside but still not as you are describing, i tried to reenacted this by clogging the tvape and setting it at max temp it did get hot but i can still hold it.
3. battery is 1650 mah i did notice this as well but couldn't edit my pervious posts.
I am hoping this is just a clogging issue but in any type of electronics there might be some defects if this doesn't work let me know we do offer a warranty on all our products.

Thanks for the quick reply!
It's not a clogging issue,I pulled the ceramic filter out and looked at it through a light, all 4 holes were clean. I'm using one of the screens to keep the fine stuff out and check it and the nipple for resin build up and have found none so far.
I'm going to try it again tonight, with different flowers, dryer flowers,a looser pack, just to eliminate as many variables as I can.
NOW EVERYONE PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO WHAT IM ABOUT TO SAY....this is ONE mans expierance with ONE unit. I AM NOT TRYING TO IMPLY ANYTHING NEGATIVE ABOUT THE COMPANY OR IT'S PRODUCT!
Truth is they have been very good to me,always answering questions and just generally being cool.
Maybe my unit has a problem, maybe I'm doing something wrong. Either way I'm sure any and all issues will be worked out.
Sorry if I came across as some pissed-off asshole, that was definatly not my intention in any way,but I've had a shit day and some of that may have spilled over into my last post...sorry about that.
So now I'm off to do a little testing,I like testing, especially when it ends with a good buzz.
And Tvapes,I'm sure we will get this worked out. I have faith on the company and the philosophy behind it,and sometimes a little faith is all it takes.
works as advertised. seemed to heat up fine, nice puffy, light cloud. design is amazingly simple.
Any chances of getting covers, or better yet new colors. I know I would buy a purple unit immediately.
The reasons I wasn't getting the vapor I expected were pretty simple and I feel kinda stupid for not sorting them out earlier.
The first reason is so apparent I want to kick myself in the nuts...the weed was a bit to damp. I don't know why the hell I used stuff that wasn't as dry as I use in my MFLB,but I did. I also ignored the instructions and packed it down a bit,not much but enough that affected the performance of the unit.
So about 2 hours ago I broke out some Blueberry that I had dried out for the MFLB. And those who have one know the importance of being dry, dryer than most people like to use in other vapes. Dry enough that you don't need a grinder,it just crushes up nicely between the fingers. I then loaded the long Etube about 3/4 of the way full and DID NOT PACK IT DOWN!
I let the unit warm up to the starting temp,(370) and began a long, slow draw. Like before I was rewarded with wonderful, thick taste and a light, whispy exhale. I hit it 3 more times at that temp. The flavor tapered off as did the exhaled vapor. I bumped it up 10 degrees by holding the button for 10 seconds and began hitting it again. There was not as much taste as before, but there was still the same whispy vapor as before. I hit it about 6-7 times then cranked up the temp to 400 by holding the button down almost 20 seconds. I got about 5-6 good hits before I got a faint taste of burned popcorn, the universal signal to stop.
I dumped the load and it was a darker brown than before, nut no trace of combustion at all,no black flecks, and the load had vaped evenly. Most importantly I am high, realy high! As for the issue of the Etube getting to hot....well that was TOTALY my fault.
For some reason I was expecting bigger clouds, but this is not that kind of vaporizer. So in my misguided quest for thicker vapor I was holding the temp button down for 10-15 seconds between each hit. What an idiot,no wonder it got that hot,I was asking for more heat and it gave it to me,so naturally I blamed the equipment not the idiot using it.
My apologies to anyone who thought I was ragging on the Tvape. In my misguided attempt to give an accurate review,I jumped the gun,I think I was looking for something bad to report so I wouldn't look like a fanboy/shill,and I apologize for that.
So now let me break it down for you fine folks, the Tvape works, and it works well. It's not a massive cloud producer but it was nor meant to be. If you learn from my mistake and READ THE FUCKING INSTRUCTIONS you will be rewarded with a very nice Vaping experience. As I said before the unit itself is very well built and well thought out. It gets you high and is a snap to clean, just what I was looking for.
I'll keep giving updates as I learn to use it better, and if anything changes, good or bad you all will be the first to know.
Now just so there is no misunderstandings, the issues I brought up earlier were TOTALY due to operator error, sorry about that.
"still a better love story than Twilight."
Sounds great shipdit! Are you using the same grind as the Magic Flight? Do you think it would work with a course grind and being able to fill the tube with less material than having it ground to small?
This sounds like the portable I was waiting for, suscribed to the post. Waiting for some videos guys
Anyone tried to use it micro hitting like the mflb?
Great reviews guys - ShipDit in particular! Can't wait for a video review. This has just been added to my list
so will this thing chalk a tube? imguessing not since the cloud production seems low...?
cant wait for videos
First video review
I wish it was someone other than Vapor S. Thompson, but I guess beggars can't be choosers.
The large etube makes the Tvape look massive, but it actually doesn't look too bad with the short tube.
Its not a review. Just another showing like before, but this was done in May so the info we know may be more accurate such as the temperature. Hope its alright posting this, its not a hard video to find.
Seriously. I wish wankers like Vapor S Thompson would stop getting review units. The last time he was here, he was crying about getting lawyers to remove his reviews because of his job. WTF?
Anywho, sorry for the rant. Look forward to more reviews/videos from members.
Totally agree. I mean, I understand why guys like VST, VapeCritc and VapeLife get review units - they get a ton of hits and followers, and vape mfgs must figure that'll give them more exposure. Course what they don't realize is most people think those guys are complete douches.
In unrelated on-topic news, I'm seriously considering this vape. Be great if someone could create a 510 or ego threaded cart that does the same thing.
Hey TVape, what part does that white bit on the end of the battery play? Is it just like the terminal on most other e-cig style batts?
I did want to point something out before too many people plunk down their money on the TVape ,
Its been stated a few times that you can use it while charging but in the User Manual it says :
"WARNING ..............The output power of this product is higher then the charging power . Please allow the Battery to fully charge before using . "
I take this to mean "don't use while charging "
It's not a big deal to me but I know for a few people this could be a deal breaker . Just an FYI .
Maybe TVape vaporizer can shed some more light on the subject if for some reason the manual or my understanding of it is wrong (its been known to happen) ..................................
