Warm up heats up to 245 for a short period of time and then stops.. Cruise starts at set temp for a set amount of time.
so, what is the difference between just switch (from cold) to cruise on 390F than use warmup to 245F and then switch to cruise on 390F?

245 C not F.
Warm up is aggressive preheat for a short period of time ,in order to get the glass tubes of the heater warm,so it can have more stable performance. You will likely never need to cruise at that temp,So it kind of saves you the trouble of clicking/dealing all the way up to 245 C and than back down to the desired cruise temp.
Once your tubo is already hot ,there is no sense in using warm up.

My first vape will be a tubo! Can't wait until the sale! Will people signed up on your shop site receive notifications when it's live? Cheers!
I wonder if it will be difficult for you to find other vapes you like given that you're starting with the tubo. I went through "beginner vapes" like MFLB, vapman, solo and many others long before I found my way to the tubo. There are only a couple of vapes out there now that are comparable with it.

I kinda feel the same. I started with a storm vaporizer but after just a week of use I already ordered my tubo.
I've tried a few other vapes in the meantime but I have the feeling there won't be any devices in the near future that can compete with the tubo. Talking about portables at least, I have no experience at all with desktop vapes.

The tubo is doing me great services for just 3/4 year now and I hope that'll continue for years. Any body remember when the tubo was released / first unit been shipped?

Edit:
Also I'm looking for a recommendation for a water piece especially for the tubo. I'd lprefer a rather small one.
I'm eyeing on the tubo bases, they quote the "D020-X series" as compatible water piece. I can't find a link on those though. It seems like they do have a 18 mm male connector?

Well I guess I found it? https://www.dhgate.com/product/d020...water/244202146.html#s1-0-1b;searl|3768479495
Is that correct? Or are there other recommendations?

This is an issue I had with my Tubo dual and TUBOx.

I did not use the multi-cell options for a week or so, only the OG Tubo evic. When I went to use the multi-cell options I got a message that the cells were out of balance. I had the Dual and used it daily for 3+ months without ever getting this message.

Had the same issue with my Cuboid 200 and my TUBOx.

Logic is telling me that these box mods use power even when not on and the drain is not equally divided.

Total recharge of the paired cells and 3 "married" cells resolved the issue.

Has anyone else noticed this?

EDIT: as @muunch pointed out, the one I have (and the one in @funkyjunky's videos) is the D020, without the D.
The bong works great with the Tubo, it's indeed 18.8 and the cork adapter for the whip fits perfectly too.
It is rather small, so I say go for it!

@funkyjunky will the new wood stems with the S&B capsules be available for the 4/20 sale???
Please say yes, I have money to throw your way! Take it!

I only own four but my favorite is the Solo II, on 420 sale at puffitup.com for $199 right now.

Bigger smoother hitter with better flavor than my Fury 2, Linx Gaia, or ti VapCap xl. Not super portable but battery life is amazing as a result. I was gonna shop for an Enano for my first plug in and the Solo II is so nice I don't think I'll bother now.

Not to sound too sassy since I'm genuinely interested in all three devices, but to me the primary difference is that you can actually buy a Tubo. The iHeat waiting list is at 18 months and the Splinter guy, to put it gently, is still getting his production situated.

@duff has both a tubo and a splinter

So do i.

They are both really good devices, and really my primary two vapes at the moment. Sadly i broke my production Splinter shortly after i got it by dropping it on the tile floor. Been itching to get a new one and recently asked to go to the bottom of the list for my replacement. 25% off preorders currently.

I do slightly prefer the vapor from the Splinter over the Tubo but again they are both great vapes and i don't want to split hairs up in this thread right now. I also like Tubos accessories a lot and was sometimes using the whip attachment with the Splinter. Bottom line is both devices are good choices.

I had this with my WismecRX300 ,after searching in some forums i found uneven battery drain is a software fix and someone uploaded a fix on github for my particular model which FJ implemented in his software. Maybe you should look if there aint a fix for your model too.
In my cause it was draining cell C,no matter if i rotate battery places it was always that slot that was draining even when device was in standby (they are marked ABCD )

Not comparable but my other main one currently is the splinter. I alternate between them but the tubo is easier since it's all set up and ready to go without a box mod. Otherwise use a milaana or fury and have many that I don;t use or have given away like the arizers or boundless vapes.
