We had similar regs pass in Oregon in attempts to stop 'pot drs'. The va here has never been able to help and vets are forced to turn elsewhere. The clinics have figured out ways to conform. You need to have spoken w/ a dr about your issue 1st - whether or not they help, to get a clinic doc to sign. They also do a minimum eval. It costs about $200-$300 to get a sig at most of these clinics now. Patients w/o insurance and vets have little choice but to go through a clinic. Even non vets have to sometimes have a second dr due to their original dr not wanting to sign or not wanting to prescribe both narcotics and mmj. I even know of drs who have stipulated stopping cigarette smoking to sign for mj.
