Well the Dart eventually gets clogged and under-performing even if you clean it, that was basically a last ditch effort that they did give the go-ahead on.

Their call, but IMO the results could have been expected, I hope others don't mess theirs up that way.

I've seen it before, as I understand it the plating and base expand at different rates, tearing the plating loose at the microscopic level. Then Oxygen and moisture get in....

    Thanks for the update.

You're welcome, glad you're back on track. These things are for enjoying...not fighting.

After priming, as I said, my recommendation is "As soon as it thins, even a little bit, add .05 to .10 (never more)". Too much loaded slows the action and 'muddies' the taste. You want it lean but not dry.

    "Load small and often".

So just got my ultra with LV dart today. So excited that I didnt even think about the possible blemish there was and now I wonder if that contributed to the failure of the cart... What do you think is it supposed to look this way? [IMG]

Notice the notch on the right there... thats what im talking about...

Now, i just got this in the mail this morning... it did work when i got it which is why i gave it no never mind, but now im dead in the water. I have washed and boiled it.... im letting it dry tonight and we will see if it fires up in the am, but do you think i need to contact TV about bout notch in the dart core and get it replaced?

That gap is intentionally there. So there is another reason it stopped working.

I would check the switch, batteries, and make sure everything is screwed in all the way.

Since i boiled it last night ill be trying it tonight or some time today, but if its the threads being not tight enough or dirty there is little else short of rethreading the ibternals to,get em tighter or cleaner... It is either the battery, switch or cart... I lean towards cart cause i think it was just flooded

Don't discount switch position. The reason guys keep suggesting it is because expweience has shown it's usually the problem. To work right the switch needs to be pushed back a bit as the cart is screwed in for positive contact. The o-ring can prevent that from happening sometimes. Boiling (or flooding) it should not harm it in any way.

Tried my Dart with bubba bho (budder like viscosity) & amazing results. My friends & I enjoyed it so much they started seeing the legitimate reality of what we all know to be called THERMOVAPE. Thanks for all the help & guidelines FC & thanks to Zeki for customer support

I forgot to talk about my group experience!! I have the Ultra paired up with the LR AVA and a last-minute batch of DART's. I dabbed out about .1g (a fifth of the half gram container) of the "Dabber's Gold" that I posted on the "My Stash" thread, shaped it, and popped it in. Told them to give me a sec to do the first "warm-up" which would be longer than the rest of the hits. 15 seconds later I hand it off to friend 1, explain that the draw speed should be such and such, and on his second hit he pulled such a huge cloud he coughed for almost 5 minutes STRAIGHT (we had to skip him a few times on the rotation, every time he looked at the piece coming his way he shook his head in fear and muttered out obscenities between hacks.) Took friend 2 about 4 tries to finally really nail the technique down, and friend 3 has an e-cig so was more familiar with the draw consistency I was referring to earlier. He had no problem just pulling out a big one. Anyways, went through about .35 of it (with the same battery, no less) (I had already hit it with a different battery a bunch of times prior to this so I was only taking "every other few" hits).

Friend 1 is on the floor not moving, just staring at the ceiling. Friend 2 declared 5 minutes after the sesh was up that he wasn't feeling anything and was going to go grab his glass from his room and pull it out to pass around. He would have, too, but once he sat down with everything, he pulled a nug out, opened his grinder, set the nug down next to the grinder, closed it, and tried his hardest to grind the nug that wasn't there. Opens the bottom chamber, empty, says "what the hell?" while turning to me... I just took the top off, set the nug on top, and said "okay, try it again." He burst out laughing, took one bong rip, and said he was done. This is a guy that can milk a .3 bowl and clear it in the same breath(sp?), but friend 3 doesn't even smoke/enjoy all that often, maybe two or three times a month TOPS. He absolutely loved it, and I later directed him this way for more info.

Friend 1 was still kinda greened out a few hours later, 2 wanted to start saving money for something like this, 3 is probably lurking here right now :ninja:

    Good times, good times...

God that's a beautiful dab. I've got a DART sitting here but no way to use it yet. It really is a nice piece of kit though.

The dart is the top half. The kit thermovape sells is a LV atomizer without a drip tip. Basically ava atomizer + dart tip = revolution dart. You can take off the dart and drip ecig juice if you want to

TV does not seem to think so. They think they're using a similar, but different reservoir material (more appropriate pore size for PG) and a lower power on the heater?

For sure Cera oil and PG carts are different we're told in this way.

I've never used an AVA or Cera PG cart so am going on what I've been told.....which also makes sense to me.

They've also said if you want to experiment you should boil it clean between modes not just "take off the dart and drip ecig juice if you want to".

ya i think the boil part is so you dont get your juice taste mixed w/ concentrate lol. most juices i grt are 50 50 pg/vg mix and they are great just dripped on the ceramic. i however got a 510 threaded tank and use the ava simply for waxes(well i lost a ava/dart and the new one is coming in tmrw lol

I don't. I think it's because oil and water don't mix. Or in this case, oil and PG. Having one in the reservoir will block the other.

Laugh or not as you wish.

as far as i can tell based on personal experience, if i put a few drops of a menthol ecig juice and vape away till its dry, i can then place a dab of wax with no adverse effects. vice versa i can vape .1 of wax and when that goes away fill her up with some more ecig juice and vape that with a hint of wax of course. when i ordered previously i was told the engraving is the only thing different between the ava atomizer and revolution atomizer, are you telling me one is more pourous than the other? because i think the one i am getting tmrw is marked revolution. also when i say pg / vg i am referring to propylene glycol” and “vegetable glycerin”. i dont know if we are talking about two diff things or what

Yes, that's my understanding. That's why they have different names. Revolution was made from AVA on request before DART which evolved half a year or so later.

And the power levels of the heater differ as well?

i remember being told multiple times in this thread that the revolution atomizer and ava atomizer were the same sans the engraving. by revolution i mean the rev/dart not the rev window. hell even TV explained to me when i order to order a ava / dart loading tool and i would have the exact same thing as a dart marked with revolution. im pretty sure other ppl in this thread purchased the same and were under the same impression

I think e-juice vaporizes at a much lower temp than oil, so at the very least I'd expect the AVA to have a lower wattage and maximum temp. As far as pore size on the ceramic, I don't recall hearing anything about that before. Maybe someone from TET can clear this up after they get through the Cera assembly crunch.
