The Universe adapter is going to be the only adapter that can do herbs, oils, and water extracts.

Engineer is on it, making a few more. So shortly we will have more, also tomorrow i am ripping apart the warehouse to look for it. Hope we find it.

Hey, if one of the guys doesn't show up for work in the morning.......

Per Murphy, ordering replacements should make it come out of hiding, right?

Finally a bowl shot! The most revealing pose for any vaporizer!

Though I have as much faith in you as always, I have a hard time seeing that bowl handle oil... unless there is some kind of liquid trap under the holes... :ninja:

I hope it might have a combo type of thing with the holes having a porous ceramic and a convection plant matter vape but lets see how it goes.

Sorry, Joe, I don't think that's a bowl shot, the cover is on. You're looking at the socket for the mouthpiece.

And I suspect it's just a photo, sent from the engineer? My guess is it's still missing.....or we'd be testing today not showing pictures?

We're allowed to talk about it, so here's what I saw. This is the heater from the 8. It's in a different shell. Inside there's a flat ceramic plate with an indirect heater (I think) that heats it to working temperature. The ceramic does not look porous to me, if it was it would plug up with debris in no time when herb was used I'd think. My guess is oil sits on top of the plate like everything else?

Oh ok that makes a lot more sense, that picture's field of view tricked me into thinking it wasn't very tall...

I haven't actually seen the universe but when G showed me the 8 on skype the bottom of the bowl looked dark with a steel center post. The universe has some kind of center post too right? Do you think the dark floor was really a blackened piece of ceramic?

Either way it certainly does sound like it should be able to handle oil

Yes, I recall a post too (I think). I don't think it's a vent. It might be the heater or temperature sensor in the 8 (why you'd need a sensor in this guy I don't know, making a heater more likely?). The unit I saw was new, no stains yet (although that could sure happen), could it just have been shadow?

Anyway, looks to me like it could cook darn near anything you could shovel in there. BTW it's a lot bigger inside that it looks like it should be.....

Looks like a cool 'spin off' technology to me. Guys who don't end up the 8 are sure to want to have this option.
